I know it's only episode 6, but already I'm thinking back to the beginning when I knew NONE of the names, was confused about soccer... And now I'm practically a pro. Well, we all know that's not true 馃お but the more I watch, the more I learn! I might actually go and kick a ball around one of these days, and then immediately be on hiatus as I've thrown my back out. So maybe I better stick with my hiking instead... I did actually go to the beach on Saturday and braved the waves. I enjoyed it so much, I'm buying a boogie board today and heading back this weekend! Who'd have thought 馃槄馃く

Great reaction. I love the introduction of Danny Rojas. He is such the opposite of Jaimie. You probably don't recognize it, unless you are a fan of American sports, but Ted's rant to Jaimie about practice is actually quoting one of the most famous press conferences in American sports. There was a basketball player named Allen Iverson who was asked about missing practice and pretty much said what Ted said in response. He had a lot going on in his personal life (like Ted) and it was maybe an overreaction to missing one practice. If you google it, it is fun to compare the rants. I love how Ted uses any opportunity to help bring the team together. In this episode, when the rumor comes out about a potentially haunted training room, he hatches a plan where the team all shares a personal story about themselves to get to know each other better and closer as a result. He may not know the game but he is good at this.
You went to the beach? With all that sunshine? *shudder* You're much braver than I am. I love the friendship that seems to be happening between Keeley and Rebeccah. They're quite different with Rebeccah being very reserved and Keeley much more outspoken, but they fit.
Well.... I did get there at 7:45am as I too hate the sunshine 馃ぃ I also wore a long sleeve wetsuit top and was out of there by 9am but hey, it counts, right? HAHA Keely and Rebecca have such a nice friendship happening, don't they! Keely is wonderfully free and outspoken. They really do make a good match!

I will be setting fire to my boogie board if it does my back out 馃ぃ You know, I can totally see it sitting in the garage and me giving it away for free in a few years time. Watch this space!
