A Man on the Inside 1x08 Edited & Full
This has been one of the best little shows 馃挏 I feel that it is so underrated, and I really hope that by me reacting to it, it's been introduced to a few new faces as this is something I would love to get out there more. It was just so lovely in so many ways, and it also feels incredibly satisfying and cathartic.
Bring on season 2!

I鈥檓 glad you did this series. Just one thing I鈥檓 not sure if someone brought this up in an earlier post but when you talked about someone sneaking out from the neighborhood and stealing, that doesn鈥檛 happen because dementia awards are lockdown and the only way people get out are if they鈥檙e accompanied by staff or a family member
I watched season one with you. Looking forward to watching season 2. Since season two is only 8 episodes, I would like to once again put This Is Us into the hat for you to watch after A Man on the Inside. According to the website I use to track my shows, This Is Us is available on Disney Plus in Australia. It's a good family drama.
You figured out what was going on with the thefts early. You ought to be a detective! Great reactions.
So happy you loved the first season, this is such special, heart-warming show and was great to enjoy this for a second time with you. The second season is also great, will definitely watch it with you if you are happy to get stuck back in.
Thanks, Juliette. It has been a great pleasure watching you react to this show so far. I haven't watched all of season 2 yet, but the first few episodes are every bit as good as the first season and enough of a different tone to set it apart. I have followed Ted Danson from his breakout role as Sam "Mayday' Malone on 'Cheers' in the 80's to the present. He is always worth watching. 'Cheers' itself would be a big commitment on your part to react to, 11 seasons with 275 episodes. I would suggest that you watch the first few episodes to see if you would like it, but it wouldn't be a fair sample of what it would become. The show didn't pick up in ratings until the second season. The first season is kind of rocky. However, 'Cheers' and its spin-off 'Frasier' became iconic, high-rated sitcoms for over 20 years (11 seasons each). Ted Danson is not on 'Frasier' except for a few guest appearances.
Loved these reactions. Such a sweet and meaningful show. Just finished season 2. Hope to watch it with you again!
Your reactions did in fact introduce me to this show so I have to thank you for that Juliette. A slice of wholesomeness can do wonders and if this show is anything, it's wholesome (and actually that's very much how I would describe you and your videos also, which is why I always look forward to them). I've very much enjoyed watching this first season with you and if you decide to, I'll definitely be here to watch season two.
Absolutely lovely journey, and I share your hope that your reactions get it a little more well-deserved attention. Seeing Charles energized and out-going at the end, compared to his slightly shut-in life at the beginning -- but he's still fundamentally Charles. Thanks for sharing as always. (Check out the audience in Charles' lecture at 25:52 for another familiar sweater, and a familiar-but-subtle sweater-wearer!)
This episode pulls on my heart strings. I worked for 30 odd years as a nurse in homes for older adults. Met a lot of people with dementia, some with much more tragic life stories than Gladys. Saying goodbye when I stopped working was so incredibly hard. I'm here for season 2 if you are!
