Severance 1x05 The Grim Barbarity of Optics & Design
This is just TOO GOOD. I am totally hooked. It keeps getting more and more bizarre with each episode. I adore Burt and Irving. Dylan is amazing. Mark's EYES. I cannot 馃ぃ And poor Helly.
AND THERE'S GOATS
I'm loving it!

As you said, the opening of this episode is so well done. The way Mark's state of mind (and expression) changes as he rides the elevator really hammers home that the outies have no idea what is happening to them whilst they're at work. Well, apart from Helly's outie that is. How could you continue to work at Lumon when you know there's a good chance your innie is going to injure/kill you at some point?
I am obsessed with the elevator face, Neil!!! It's one of my favourite things to see!
So in this world, there is a guy who goes to work at an office for a big corporate job, gets severed and then plays with baby goats all day? I don鈥檛 know whether to be jealous that he gets to be with all those baby goats or feel bad for him that he will never know.
OHHHHHHH now that you put it like that, it's definitely a catch 22 situation 馃槄 That is really sad. I'm jealous, but sad for his outie at the same time 馃ゲ
I adore goats too! When I was a child, we had two goats that we raised from kids. I helped bottle feed them and milk them when they were grown. They were both maiden milkers meaning that they gave milk even though they themselves had never had kids. We got enough milk from them to supply a family of six with all their milk needs.
I love this so much 馃ス馃ス what a lovely childhood memory. They are such funny animals and so cute. You're very lucky!
Sorry for the 15 minute delay! I didn't schedule the video as I had a busy but lovely weekend and I didn't turn on the computer at all 馃ス I saw quite a few animals over the weekend, including a few platypus in the wild, which was very cool. I hope you all had a great weekend, too 馃挏
