Doctor Who 9x1 Minisode
Like I explained in the intro, there is another minisode before this one, but it only goes for a minute or so. I watched that one first, and then saw this one was a bit longer and decided to record a reaction to it!
I found the minisode on Daily Motion, so if you search for it you'll be able to find it to if you want to see the full screen version. I put a logo over the top of this one just to be safe, but I left the audio in.
On to series 9!!

Hey, you mentioning the music made me think of Doctor Who PROMS which is a celebration of the soundtrack of Doctor Who, played live by an orchestra, I think it could make for some great reactions (very emotional tho so be ready if you want to do so ^^), there are a few to chose, but I'd recommend watching the 2013 one since it's the most recent (considering where you're at in the show) but there's also 2008 (10th doctor era) and 2010 (early 11th doctor era).
season 9 is my favorite for lots of reasons and the loose curls are one of them. can't wait to see what you make of this season and the themes/performances throughout!
12 gets better the longer his hair gets
I've not seen this one before but it was interesting to see the ways in which it teases plot points for the next episode (and in turn provides a bit more context). I was having the same thoughts about the music near the end. I remember that particular bit from Amy's farewell but no doubt it was used at other points as well.
12 is my absolute favourite Doctor - I love the gritty realism he brings, the no-nonsense stuff. He’s a force of nature. Others will likely say but you may not have noticed that 12 was speaking in the first minisode to the woman from “Night Of The Doctor” (50th anniversary special prequel with the 8th Doctor) Shame we didn’t catch that reaction I love the banter of “why do you always lie?” “Why do you always assume I’m lying?” “It saves time.” 😂
Enjoy S9 - as a 12 fan it’s my personal absolute favourite. So get ready - because we have more chalkboard writing on the way…
I love the use of chalk for the 12th Doctor too. That's one of the consistent call backs to his first episode, along with his attitude towards using people's names. I also love that they've gone for a more relaxed look and let him grow his hair out so we can see those lovely soft curls. His hard edges are starting to soften now that he's come to terms with who he is.
Seeing as its not here I want to talk about the other minisode for this episode entitled Prologue and set on Karn. I think its very important, and I think Moffat thought so too. Its rare for there to be two minisodes for an episode, and whilst this one turned up as expected and in the usual places such as the official Who youtube channel, the other one was a bit different. The other one went out at Moffats insisitence and as well as the usual places he had it put onto the BBC Red Button (which is something on your tv, meaning even those with no access to the internet could watch it) Moffat wanted people to see the other one very much. The reason why I cant say why I think, not yet at least. But I wanted to point out it is in my view more important going ahead than this one which is more just a bit of fun.
Wow. A piece of Capaldi Docceroo I've only seen once before. As you no doubt agree already this minisode adds a lot to the next episode in terms of this Doctor's style and the story. Btw, when you were moving towards covering the 50th anniversary there were many requests in comments for a reaction to 'Adventures in Space and Time'. Did you ever watch that doctor-docu-drama? If so, what did you think of it, and if not, could you react to it? (cough cough its on dailymotion cough)
