OMG. I cannot deal with this showwwwww! I am over excited again. Confession: I think I'm already going to start re-watching from episode 1. Is this a good idea, or is there a better time in the overall series where a re-watch would make better sense? I am just obsessed 😭
I've read a few comments since I uploaded the first episode to youtube and a lot of people are warning me against spoilers. I've had NOTHING spoiled thankfully. Do you think it is a good idea to just stay away from the comments there? I feel bad because I do love to read and interact, but sometimes youtube can be a bit of a minefield.
PLEASE tell me I'm not alone with feeling so guilty/bad with this episode. I feel like somehow it was ME that disappointed Michael. I still feel terrible 🤣😭

Feeling like you've disappointed Michael isn't odd. Just means you're a human capable of deeper empathy.
When you rewatch it, try to splurge for the blu-rays - all the episodes have a couple minutes of extra footage that was cut for time for broadcast. That's how I'm doing my watch along and I have to pause my video a lot to stay in sync, but I can really see all the good comedy you're missing out on! Can you feel the FOMO, haha, sorry 🤣😭🤣

As someone who mostly comments on YT (looks like I'm commenting here today!)- I can't advise going there. Even after the mods have combed through, there's usually a spoiler or two in some sub-comment. They're like lice, you always miss one. If you do want to look at them, maybe just look at the top comments? And definitely don't click the replies under them! You will know when it's safe-ish to look at them again.
I am leaning towards this!! I will put a pinned note in my next upload saying I'm avoiding the comments for a bit. This show is just so forking awesome, I do not want anything spoiled 😭

As others have said, I definitely recommend waiting to re-watch season 1 later. And yeah I can imagine heavy spoilers from youtube so be careful! But yes this episode is so stressful! That sense of guilt you get watching this episode is not just you. This show is so good at making the audience feel something, and thats what I love about it.
OH THANK GOODNESS!!! I felt so bad. Michael was so upset. I really did feel like I was part of the problem 😭 I hate to feel I disappointed him! This is so silly and makes no sense, but man.... I felt so bad.
There are *a lot* of twists and turns in this show. If you're the kind of person who likes being surprised, I'd avoid unfiltered comments. As far as a rewatch goes, there is a better time to start a rewatch and you'll know it when you get there.
Give your mods time to go over the comments! 😉 As for re-watching already, if you're enjoying the show so much that that's what you feel like doing then go for it. Personally, when I have every episode readily available I will wait until I've finished the show before re-watching. When I'm watching a show that has not yet reached it's conclusion I'll re-watch previous seasons whilst I'm waiting for the next season to release. Thanks for another excellent reaction Juliette. Ahhh Neil, I'm such a weirdo! I think it's a bit different for me as I can only really react to a couple of episodes a week, but then on the weekend I'll think "I love this show, I want more" and the only way to do that is editing (BOOOOO) or rewatching (YAAAAAY) 🤣🤣
I JUST joined after seeing your Good Place video on YT. I absolutely adore this show and your reactions have been so fun. It might sound cheesy but there are times when i think this show made me try to be a better person. Yes, it is silly but there are good lessons to be learned and this show has such a big heart to it. In terms of spoilers in comments, I would avoid for now. I think there is a certain point in the show where it is safer. I will comment after you get there, but you will probably know at that time.

100% avoid spoilers. I love knowing your read and interact, but unless you can find a volunteer to prescreen for you I'd recommend abstinence. (I wish I could volunteer but I can't commit to it on any consistent schedule)
