Doctor Who P.S. Reaction

It’s definitely bittersweet, and—at least—brings closure after having Amy & Rory torn (!) away from us. Having Arthur (Rory) read the letter aloud made me realize what a lovely voice he has, and how much I/we have come to love him. It may have started Amy… + Rory but it ended Amy AND Rory. I’ve seen this a half dozen times, but it still brought tears to my eyes—again. Not to argue—do what works best for you!—but I’m genuinely confused by your aversion to the mini-sodes. Some are literally canon; others, granted, are more fluff. But whether you record them & react to them they should be watched if at all possible. After all, you’re a Whovian now… 😃

I was sure that you'd love this conclusion to Amy's and Rory's (and Brian's and Anthony's) story and I'm very glad that you watched it and shared it with us. Or as a completely other writer put it: "I will not say: do not weep; for not all tears are an evil."

The first time I watched this I was just sobbing by the end. It’s just so touching.

I thought you might like to see that Amy and Rory lived a long and happy life and that Brian wasn’t left alone wondering what happened to them. Glad you enjoyed, and glad you had your tissue box.

Lovely reaction, it's very emotional isn't it. I love that Amy and Rory adopted a child, I think that adoption is a big theme of Doctor Who when you look at it, the Doctor continually adopts companions and searches for a family, to belong, and Earth has been their adoptive home for hundreds of years. I love it because I'm an adoptee myself, and so realising that adoption is so interwoven into Doctor Who was a wonderful realisation. I think what Sarah Jane said to the Doctor in Journey's End says it all really. "You act like such a lonely man, but look at you, you have got the biggest family on Earth."

Glad you enjoyed this! It’s a touching epilogue for sure. The only other minisode I would say to definitely watch would be one that takes place between the series 7 finale and the 50th anniversary special. It’s entitled “Night of the Doctor”. It’s actually an important moment as opposed to an inessential cute scene. Obviously, as always, it’s your choice! I wouldn’t want it to get in the way of filming Twin Peaks! *hint hint* 😜 j/k

"I wanna be Happy, I wanna be good" you're watching the wrong video for that 🤣 Whilst you're talking about minisodes, is it possible for you to reupload your reactions to bad night, good night, first night and last night? I never got to see them as I was on holiday at the time and I'm sure there are some other people who also didn't manage to see them before you removed the videos from the post. No problem if you don't want to but I thought I may as well ask as you already have them edited (unless you have deleted your copies of the edit)
