Ask Me Anything! 🤎 | Dinha Q&A
Hello my dears! 🤎
Lately, I’ve been sharing a little more of the person and the work behind Dinha — and I’ve really enjoyed letting you see a side of my creative journey that usually stays behind the scenes.
But there is still so much I haven’t shown you yet. 👀
I’m currently preparing more Behind Dinha posts, including a real look at how I use AI to help create and develop some of my textures — failed attempts included 😅 — and how I use my personal content calendar to organize everything I create and share throughout the month.
Before I show you all of that, though, I thought it would be fun to give you the chance to choose what you’d like to know.
Ask me anything! 💬
Is there something you’ve always been curious about? 🤎
Leave your question in the comments below. 👇
I’ll keep this Q&A open until October 12th.
And maybe some of your questions will become future Behind Dinha posts too. 👀✨
So… what would you like to ask me? 🤎
With love,
Dinha

Love your content, first of all, and thank you so much for sharing. 1. Did posting your content publicly add pressure to how you play with and interact with the game? I’m a hobby modder, and I never publicly share what I’ve made because I think the demands would make me play less, so I’m curious if you can still peacefully play? Or perhaps it’s different for someone who’s primarily a CC creator because you don’t have the demands of a patch update looming. 2. When you first started making CC, did you instantly start posting it online, or do you sit with what you’ve created for a bit? 3. In your own sim time, what is your favorite way to play the Sims or is it a mix? Are you primarily a builder, CAS obsessive, jumping around save files, or do you have an old faithful, or do you mainly just like creating for the game? 4. For people who can create CC is it not tempting, to see any cute thing IRL and go, oh I need that right now. I feel like I’d be building things all of the time, and never actually end up playing. 5. You clearly like design, what’s your favorite style. Least favorite color? Favorite color? 6. Any favorite Sims 4 creators, modders or CC creators who have changed your game. Is there a CC creator who you feel fits with your style that you’d like to work with? 7. I’m really interested in the fact that you’ve been so forthcoming about using AI when so many people are weary, did that not concern you. I’ve seen simmers drop creators who have used AI for different things in their mods so I’m curious. I admittedly do use it, primarily because Gemini became the replacement for “Hey, Google”, and I clearly have a lot of questions. In the Sims though, I do use it now to check errors and for patch updates and it’s been helpful for searches of obscure mods and really old cc. Will you use it going forward in other ways outside of your promotional material? 8. Your most controversial Sims take. (I prefer even numbers so I had to add one more) To make it even, mine is that I don't mind having cars anymore (I'd still like for them to be able to park a car and hangout in one, but I don't need to see them move) and the object babies have grown on me, but I like that they don't move and it took me 8 human years to let my main sims have children, I probably like that I always know where they are and they aren't getting into something. Pandasama's baby carrier mod really helps though and the visual edits of them. The infant and teen stages are my favorite adolescent life stages though.
My question is: how to render the content in your style? I'm also a modeler working for many games, but my biggest problem is thinking a lot about how to be a the sims cc creator. Your creations are not only beautiful, but extremely well rendered and idk what you do to do that. Can you explain? Like, the process after making the models and hand painted/procedural texture in substance I know you use Camva to make the thumbnails for your posts, but what you do for the render? They're always amazing
Thank you so much! 🤎 And this question actually made me smile because my “rendering” process is probably much simpler than you imagine. 😅 I actually don't render my objects separately at all. Once I've finished the textures in Substance Painter, I simply rotate and position the object there until I find an angle that shows it the way I want. I then take that image directly from Substance Painter and remove everything around it, leaving only the object with no background. For a long time, I used Canva to create and put together my thumbnails, but more recently I've started using ChatGPT instead to help me create the final presentation. I always ask it to preserve the original image of my CC. So there isn't actually a separate Blender rendering process or any special render setup behind my images. What you're seeing starts with a very simple image taken directly from Substance Painter, and the presentation comes afterwards. 😊 I hope that answers your question! And thank you so much for saying that my creations and images look so good. 🤎 If you'd be interested, I could also make a separate post showing a little more about how I use ChatGPT to create my thumbnails — including the kind of prompts and instructions I give it and how I go from the original object image to the final presentation. Let me know if that's something you'd like to see! 😊
not a question, but please give us more maximalist colourful collections like Elia! i love it! you are so talented! 🌸
Awww, thank you so much! 🥹🌸 Questions, comments, feedback and requests are all very welcome here—I always love hearing your thoughts! I also loved the final result of the Elia Collection. It all began with an image I saw of a bedroom featuring a blue-and-red wall and a matching frames collection. That single image inspired the initial idea, and then all the other pieces and color combinations gradually began to appear around it. Sometimes one little detail is enough to inspire an entire collection! 😍 Your request has officially been noted! I’ll try to be a little bolder and bring you more colorful, maximalist collections in the future.❤️
