Update - 27/11/2023
Hello, everyone! How was your weekend? Mine was incredibly busy since I was trying really hard to wrap up Under Ashen Skies (at least the artless version) and getting ready for the launch of Ker Nethalas: Into the Midnight Throne this Wednesday. I'm a bit scared cause there are tons of cool KS campaigns coming this week, but there's always something cool launching, and I can't wait forever. I really want to play this game with a cool book in my hand, so I want it done ASAP! I have high hopes for this campaign and the hybrid model I'm trying to establish of PoD + a limited deluxe edition. If this works out this is how I'll be working moving forward. I already have the next game in line, and it will be a complete surprise to all of you cause this is something I haven't mentioned once. I have been working on it for months though, and it's super special!
As you saw, I shared the first half of Demonic #2 on Saturday. How are you guys liking the new Arcanist starting occupation? I'm super happy with it, and it changes Sacrifice's meta quite a bit. Still, I don't want magic to be something players can rely on fully and if you don't know how to wield a weapon, you're going to die quickly. I'm specially happy with the demi-Arcanist option I added via Feats. For the second half of the zine, which will be released next month for you guys, I'm planning on finally adding mass combat rules and if I can figure out how to do it and have the space for it, mercenary company management. I'll keep you guys posted!
So this week is going to be a big one for me, with the launch of Ker Nethalas' KS. I assume I'll be getting a lot of feedback from Under Ashen Skies backers, so there will be some time spent fixing stuff. And as usual, I'll be shipping packages. All the Kickstarter backer copies for Across a Thousand Dead Worlds have been shipped, finally (even though I have a bunch of them I'll need to ship again, since I keep getting packages returned for all sort of reasons). But I still have a lot of pre-orders to ship. With all the stress and chaos of these last weeks, it looks like I made a pretty big mistake and completely forgot to add the weight of the book to the store, which means the webstore assumed it was 0 kg, and it calculated the shipping costs accordingly. So yeah, I have about 100 orders that got their shipping for nothing, meaning I lost a lot of money. And there I was, wondering why I was getting so many orders from the US and Australia, considering the shipping is pretty expensive...
I really need Ker Nethalas to do amazing so I hope you guys help me promote it once it goes live. If it doesn't do well I'm going to have to take a credit to pay for all the shipping holes I have, if I want to finish fulfilling ATDW once the books arrive in the US (they are delayed again, by the way...).
So that's it for this week, I'm going back to work. Have a great week, everyone!

The new Demonic content is really nice. I like the idea of fringe magic users, those persecuted as witches (some of which probably aren't magic users), or individuals from distance lands (an Akelian sorceress, I can imagine). Also I'm definitely excited to try Under Ashen Skies, although I didn't back the KS (well only €1). When will it be available to the general public, or at least Patreon patrons?
Glad you like the new Sacrifice stuff! I'm actually working right now on the second half of the issue, I had some bout of inspiration. As for Under Ashen Skies, I don't think it will be available to Patreons because it isn't only my game, and it complicates things if I share it here, sorry. It will be available for purchase in early January, most likely.
Spent some time at the in-laws for the weekend, got Warlord Ascendant (PoD) copy in my hands from DTRPG, and played some games (PS5) with the kiddos as we were pretty tired from all the time at the in-laws... hope to get something going here shortly... not sure if diving back into Broken Shores or setting up the table for WA.
Sounds like a busy weekend! Let me know if you do get around trying WA, I'm curious to learn how it goes!
