Update - 23/10/2023
Hello, everyone! How are you doing? I hope everyone's enjoying the fall, we finally have actual fall weather here in Madrid, instead of the extended summer we've had until a couple of days ago, and I'm enjoying myself before the cold mountain winter typical of Madrid arrives.
I can't say it's been a terribly productive week, as you can imagine, I've been almost solely focused on shipping the Across a Thousand Dead Worlds books to backers. On top of that, we've had a couple of errors with Backerkit and the platform I use to handle the shipping, which meant some extra annoyance and work. We're back on track now, but I still need to ship hundreds of books. I will most likely open pre-orders for everyone this week as well, since I keep getting asked about it. I hope we manage to sell it all because my living room is a war zone, and I really need the cash to be able to pay for all the US shipping without having to get indebted. We'll see!
I have had time to do some writing, though, since there's only so many packages the delivery guys can carry (I don't own a car so the couriers have to come and pick the packages to my place). I have been trying hard to get some work done for Riftbreakers, but even though I love the game and I have a blast playing it, it's not my preferred type of setting and I struggle with it. That's why I created that poll the other day, to see which game(s) I should focus on. The clear winner was ATDW, which was kind of expected, I guess. It's good to hear because I really want to get the expansion going, but on the other hand, I should make smaller content in between... so we'll see what I do. In any case, since Sacrifice had the second place, and I always enjoy creating content for that game (I don't know why I find it so inspiring), I started working on the second issue for Demonic. I'm not sure yet about the full list of features because it will depend on how much I write for the content I do know I'll include, but so far I have the short intro story (I like having a couple of pages of in-setting story at the beginning of each issue), a new Apostle (since people keep asking for new ones; I don't know if they just keep hunting them down and their characters are absolute beasts, but I'm happy to oblige), and the Arcanist, which will include the most requested feature (or the second actually, people really want dungeon delving rules, even though I don't feel like it suits the setting): magic. It's not going to be done the typical way, so I'm excited to show you how it works! I still haven't had the time to properly sit and develop this new starting occupation, but I have my list of ideas for it so it should be relatively quick.
I've also been working on the layout for Under Ashen Skies, and now that I've seen the changes Alan has made to the core Thousand Worlds game engine, I love them. Combat is brutal, and it involves making risky decisions, so it's a lot of fun. The combination of my mechanics with the ones introduced by Alan have resulted in an extremely original ruleset, and one easy to grasp, which is always great. I can't wait for you guys to see this!
So this week it will be the same: more packing, and more UAS. I'll try to get some writing done as well, of course, but it will certainly be the thing I do the least this week. I also hope I'll be able to upload Egrastea Reborn on DTRPG for you guys, so please remember, if you're at the Evocatus or higher tier and you haven't already, send me your DTRPG email so I can deliver the files to you ASAP!
That's it for now, have a great week!

Nice, thank you! I think you already know my email address, but if not, I'll mock it up again on Discord if you want. Looking forward to Egrastea Reborn!
