Update - 25/09/2023

Hello, everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend and had the chance to rest. I'm still not feeling 100% recovered from COVID so I didn't do anything at all, just worked and read. I did watch the first episode of The Continental, the John Wick TV show, and it was really good! If you like the films, you'll like this.

So as you saw, I uploaded the mostly artless version of Ker Nethalas: Into the Midnight Throne. I know a few of you have already started creating characters, so I'm super excited to hear how your exploration of the necropolis goes! I'm extremely proud of this game, and I'm very excited to bring it to Kickstarter later this year.

Alan and I have made some progress with Under Ashen Skies, and it's looking good! I think we should be able to deliver it in October, as planned. I've also done some work on Egrastea Reborn, the Broken Shores expansion, and I think it's going to be a fun hexcrawling adventure. Nothing revolutionary because admittedly I'm not the best at writing adventures, but it should keep you entertained for a few days, while you clear up the island of Armestus. I shared the cover on Discord the other day, so here it is for those of you who aren't there!

Pretty gruesome, right? This should tell you all you need to know about how the island is, haha.

Last but not least, I've done a lot of administrative work, setting up the shipping of Across a Thousand Dead Worlds. I should get the books in two weeks, which is amazing! We still don't know how long it will take the rest of the books to get to the US, but I'm guessing at the very least it will be a month. We'll see!

I've also had time to tinker with a new gameplay system for Riftbreakers, based around the idea of collecting and battling "cards", so that's been fun. The trick is making something like cards that works without actually having cards (I can't really afford something like that right now...). If this works out, it will be part of the upcoming expansion.

So as you can see I've been all over the place this last week, and I expect this one to be the same. I'll try to focus on Egrastea Reborn, but it's slow going because as you know I need a stupid amount of time to write any adventure content, it's an agony, haha. If I ever have money to hire people that's the first thing I'd do: hire a writer to write my adventure ideas for me.

That's all for now, I hope everyone has a great week!
