Update - 28/08/2023
Hello, and welcome to another update! How was everyone's weekend? I just spent it working and meeting with family. We are gearing up towards the release of the Under Ashen Skies Kickstarter, and I've been really busy trying to figure out the layout while Alan finishes the text. I want this to be something really special, so I spend a lot of hours testing different things and ideas with the layout. I think I finally have something that works, so I'll show it to you guys as soon as I have it cleaned up.
I've also been super busy finishing the monster stat blocks for Ker Nethalas: Into the Midnight Throne. It's been a lot of work, but all 40+ of them are now done! I'm currently working on the last piece, which is the Overseers stat blocks. These are a little bit more detailed, so I'm only going to add 10 of them. If the game is popular I'll be adding more in the future! I've also been slowly chipping away at the layout, and I'm extremely happy with how it looks. It's clean and minimalist, and the great art is making it look incredible.
I'm not sure if I've mentioned it here already or not (if I did, sorry for repeating myself), but if the UAS Kickstarter does well, I'll organize one for Ker Nethalas straight after because I can't pay for the remaining art. I still haven't released Warlord Ascendant because it's lacking art too, and it's clearly becoming a bottleneck for me. I know, I could use stock art like I did with Riftbreakers, people don't seem to care, but Sacrifice and its related products has a very distinct look and ORB's art is a key part of that. The same goes for what I'm trying to accomplish with Ker Nethalas. I'm using some of Castilho's art for small spots but the main pieces need to be original. So I think that from now on I'll first give you guys access to the games I make without the art, go to KS to pay for art, and then once it's truly complete, give you codes for the release version.
So this week I'll try to finally wrap up Ker Nethalas, and prepare for the release of UAS's KS campaign. If everything goes as plan, I think we'll have it ready by next week!
I'll keep you guys posted, have a great week!
