Update - 21/08/2023
Hello, everyone! I hope you all had a great weekend. Mine was spent mostly working, although I did have time to continue playtesting Ker Nethalas: Into the Midnight Throne, and I'm really enjoying it! It's a game with a simple premise, but sometimes all you need is some good old dungeon crawling, without having to worry about anything else. I'm super happy with how all the systems work together, and so far it's been a blast. I can't wait to share it with you guys!
Here's some more Ker Nethalas art!
Speaking of sharing, since I'll not be able to wrap up Ker Nethalas on time, this week I'll upload the character creation chapter so you guys can take a look at it. I will also upload the new rules that will be part of the Broken Shores upcoming expansion (which should be ready by October).
I've spent a good chunk of last week going over Riftbreakers and making some very much needed balance changes and fixes. I also changed how combat works: it is now fully player-faced, as it was in Disciples of Bone & Shadow. I think it works well for a faster, simpler style of game. The "I roll - you roll" method of most D100 systems is extremely boring after a while, and I'm very happy I've found alternatives for it. My first idea was to use the same combat rules that I created for Ker Nethalas, which are the best D100 combat you'll ever see, but it just wasn't a good fit. I will be updating the PoD version of Riftbreakers ASAP, but that will take at least a month.
I've also worked on the layout for Ker Nethalas and the Broken Shores expansion, so I can share those with you, and this week I'll continue doing so. I will also attempt to wrap up the monster stat blocks for Ker Nethalas, but I doubt I'll finish it, it's just a lot of work. I still need to write the 20 bosses, too... As usual, I just don't know how to make small games, so you should all wonder at the marvel that is Blood Moon Apocalypse, my shortest game ever! Ker Nethalas is already almost 100 pages long, so I'm pretty sure it's going to be over 200 pages once it's done. Of course, this is all due to playable content, as usual: tables and tables of enemies, items, and exploration results.
So that's it for now, I'm going back to work. Hope you all have a great week!

Once you are done updating Riftbreakers, can you please inlcude a list of changes for us that have already printed the book or is it such a large overhaul we should have it printed again?
It definitely requires a new printing, I'm afraid. That is why I'm taking the PoD files down and I'll upload the new ones as soon as I'm done. In any case, if you have access to the DTRPG file (if you don't please DM me), all the changes are included in the changelog file.
