Update - 10/01/2022

Hello, everyone! How was your weekend? Mine was pretty stressful to be honest, mostly due to the fact that I had a lot of problems verifying my identity in order to set up the upcoming Across a Thousand Dead Worlds Kickstarter campaign... I finally managed to do so but it was completely random because I simply uploaded the same document for a third time, having had it rejected the previous times... but for some reason this time it worked. In any case, all that is left to do now is finish the campaign text and layout, and send it for its review! That takes a few days but I think we should still be on track for my target release date: 17th of January! The campaign will be live for 2 weeks after that; we've decided against a long campaign because there's no real benefit to it, in our opinion.

Oh yeah, in case it wasn't obvious, I finished writing ATDW! It's almost 70K words, which is a pretty nice number, most of it being random tables and resources. I'm now 100% focused on getting the KS to were it has to be for its approval, and on the side tweaking things as a result of the ongoing playtest. My plan is to have the playtest active until the end of the campaign, so we can get as much feedback as possible. I'm finally starting to feel good about it though, seems like the numbers are finally falling into place!

So it looks like we'll have a few tiers for the campaign:
- PDF only - 15€
- PDF only (financial hardship) - 10€
- Standard Hardcover + PDF - 40€
- Limited Deluxe Hardcover + PDF - 60€
- Retail tier

The prices are not final, but they'll be that or pretty close to that. L.F. OSR will be distributing the US and Canada copies, so we'll have friendly shipping for those countries, as well as for the EU since I'm shipping the rest of copies myself.

I'm afraid I'm going to keep this update short though cause I'm stressed as hell and still have lots to do. That's what happens when you leave stuff for the last moment... So if all went well, next update will be the one where I let you guys know the campaign is going live! I'll keep you guys posted of any important stuff until then though.

Have a great week!
