Update - 30/08/2021

Hello! How did everyone spend their weekend? It was terribly hot here so I didn't exit the house at all, which turned out being super productive cause I worked a lot! I've been jumping from finishing the layout for Through Sunken Lands to writing the Faction Conflict rules for Seekers Beyond the Shroud all week, including the weekend. I finally did finish the layout for TSL, or at least that's what I thought cause I sent the PDF to John from Flatland Games and he found a lot of stuff I must fix... For example, I didn't realize some of the headings must be in italics cause when I imported the InDesign file they weren't, so now I must go back and fix all of them. And that's just one of the things in the list, I expect this to keep me busy for another week, unfortunately. I will first finish the Faction rules though and upload them here very soon! I'm sure you guys are going to love them, it's a fun metagame to see what the different Factions are doing. 

I realize that I never said what a "Faction" is, actually! With the help of a few of you on Discord, I decided that the best option is to have the conflict be among the different smaller groups, such as the Meshu Betesh or the Cult of the Dying Sun, instead of going to a higher level and be it about the Omphalos and other similar organizations. There aren't that many large organizations such as the Omphalos so that would have limited the scope, and the consequences would have been much more brutal and widespread than if two cults are at each other's throats. Some Factions have loyalty towards a large organization (such as the Meshu Betesh towards the Omphalos), so you'll never see two Factions that share loyalty towards a group fighting each other in the open. They might do small scale sabotage, but never real harm.

So this week I'll try to finish what I have from TSL, although I suspect John is going to be sending me more fixes constantly and I'll be working on this book till the day I die, haha. I also got reminded by Ahimsa from Knight Owl Publishing that I said I would participate in his Plant Based zine, and although I'm really not in the mood and I don't have time I should make an effort cause I said I would take part in it. It's truly terrible timing though, and the tone of the zine is absolutely not my thing, so we'll see.
