Update - 05/04/2021
Hello guys! How was your Easter weekend? I hope everyone had a nice time. I didn't do much socially, my father came to visit, and that's about it. So I've been totally immersed in game design. These past days I've finished my small silly project for Earthjumpers, as I assume you all saw, and with that out of the way I have been working on Under Ashen Skies, Disciples of Bone & Shadow, and Seekers Beyond the Shroud. Yeah, this week I touched all my games, felt great to work on all of them, even for a little bit. Not sure how actually practical that is, though... I always need a bit of time to re-adjust to each one.
Then, as you all know, I've been having constant ideas about the sci-fi game I polled you guys about, and since most of you seem to be cool with the idea, that's what I'm currently working on. This week my priority is to send as many Warlock orders as I possibly can, which means a lot of hours spent making packages, and even more fun, filling customs forms! But I will write a bit every day, guaranteed. I am fully committed to making this game a reality within the next two months, mark my words. I am starting from the UAS mechanics, so that's a lot that is out of the way. My only worry is that the game will become a bit boring and repetitive if it's solely focused on exploration, but for now I can't think of any other type of gameplay that fits the setting. I'm open to suggestions, as always!
Some of you have asked that I add solo rules to this new game, and although that will considerably slow down the project, I'm going to do it. I still don't know if it will be basic solo rules, or full-blown ones... Depending on the scope the project takes, I suppose. I am very excited about making this happen, and I already have a couple of illustrators lined up for this, and I'm waiting to hear from 2 more. I don't know if this will be released by me on print, or only as a PDF/PoD title, or maybe even via Exalted Funeral. I'm waiting to see how big this becomes, to see then what I do with it. One thing is clear: I want this to be gorgeous, with very evocative design and artwork, so you can expect this to be my best release so far on that regard, I promise!
That's it for now, I'm off to figure out how to adapt UAS' character progression to this game... I've decided that I'm using "gold as XP", it suits this game beautifully, since your mission is to plunder alien ruins. More details soon!

Gold for XP, the OSR standard! Approved!
Yeah, I really think it suits the theme of plundering the remnants of an alien race. If you don't bring back stuff, you get nothing!
