Update 22/02/2021
Hello guys! First of all, let us all welcome our latest members: Shawn, Dan, and Jorge! Thanks so much for joining the Order, hope you enjoy your stay!
It's been another busy week for me; as you've realized, I finally finished the Chaos Magic rules for Seekers Beyond the Shroud, after weeks of going back and forth with them. I suspect they'll need some playtesting beyond my own, so I'll appreciate all and any feedback you can give me! As you know, these rules are just a part of the upcoming Narrative Playbook for Seekers, so once I start working on that full-time (which should be after I'm done with all the little projects I have in my hands now, and Under Ashen Skies), I'll go back to them and add an intro quest that involves the Meshu Betesh. Should be neat!
I've also finalized the solo rules for Scourge of the Scornlords, and we have someone playtesting them, so I'm keeping an eye on that. But I think they should work nicely! I'm very excited for having been part of that project, Ahimsa and Wind are fantastic folks and I'm sure we'll work together on something in the future, this time from the very beginning instead of in the last second, haha.
This week has also seen the official announcement of Warlock! - Black Edition. As you know, I've been working months on this so I'm super glad to see it finally revealed. Now it's just a matter of waiting for the copies to arrive! Master level patrons will get access to the PDF very soon, by the way!
So this week I want to first finish something extra I started working on Saturday for you guys, since I felt like the Chaos Magic rules ended up less content than I had hoped for, despite all the work. I'm working on a random cultist generator, for when you encounter a generic cultist and you need to learn more about them and their motivations. This way you'll have an almost infinite list of potential antagonists to add to your game! This is just flavor though, there are no mechanics attached to it because I feel the standard, neutral Cultist profile works fine.
Once this is done, I'll focus on trying to finish the Subterranean Mälström rules for Muspelhell, because I'm starting to run out of time! I don't want the project to be delayed because of me, that would be terrible. And once that's done, I can FINALLY go back to UAS! I'll still work on my solo skirmish rules, but that's on my free personal time, it's not a priority.
