Update - 23/11/2020

Hello! How's everyone doing? I had a nice weekend, meeting some friends for a little bit of Rolemaster time (just 2 hours though, due to the curfew we have in place), and then working on game stuff, as usual. This past week has been dedicated to working on some memories and dark secrets for Under Ashen Skies, and overall thinking how to approach different mechanics in the game. It's slowly getting to the place I want it to be, but it sure is taking much longer than I had hoped...

I've also finished the little Seekers Beyond the Shroud content I promised for this month, and it will go up here on Patreon today. It's something I had planned on adding to the game during its initial development phase, but I just didn't know how to approach it. Looking forward to sharing it with you! Oh yeah, it's a ritual to allow your character to reincarnate!

This week I'll also be uploading the Disciples of Bone & Shadow content I've been working on all month, now that I finally got the illustration from Noirfade. It's a very cool addition!

This week I need to go over all the HP and damage changes and updates for the Narrative Playbook, as I did already for the Conquered Sun edition and the Basic edition of Disciples. Once that's done, I'll go back to Patreon's content and update it all to the new rules as well. Speaking of the Conquered Sun edition, it's already printed and they're now working on putting it all together! So it looks like it will be ready by December, hopefully before Christmas!

So yeah, this week I'm hoping I'll finish the Narrative Playbook fixes and then continue working hard on Under Ashen Skies. I'm debating what to do regarding Seekers in the near future though: should I release the updated HP and damage rules as an update to the core book (which unfortunately I don't have the files for, which means I need to hire Double Proficiency to do them for me, and they're extremely busy with stuff so it could take a while, aside from the costs), or should I save them for its first expansion? Or release them independently? The problem is that they affect all aspects of the game; if I reduce damage done across the board it means it has to go down for weapons, NPCs, traps, spells... everything. And that means I cannot release it a simple, independent document, I suppose. So should I basically re-do the core book, or wait for the expansion's revamp? In any case, this probably means that I would delay the release of Nuctemeron #1 (the zine I was planning on releasing with all the Patreon content) until the core changes have been done, otherwise it would be outdated the second I release the updated rules... What do you guys think?

In any case, that's it for this week, hope you guys have a wonderful one!

I think redo the core book is the wisest option. Or wait for the expansion revamp If the first option is expensive.

Yes, re-doing the core book is probably the most sensible option, but unless I literally re-do it all myself, I'd have to re-hire Anna for her to do the layout. I'll check with her and see what's the best option. If that is not really a viable solution I'll just apply all changes to the expansion.
