Update 19/10/2020

Hello guys!

How are you doing? Hope you had a great weekend. Mine was spent mostly writing and researching stuff for future projects... As always, I'm working on future stuff instead on focusing on finishing what I have started, haha. In all seriousness, the new Patreon content is nearly finished. Arkhadoa suggested that I add new Encounters, and I'll try to do so if I can, but I can't promise anything because this week is going to be extremely busy for me; I have tons of work coming from my day job, and I'll have some personal stuff to deal with as well. So if I see that the end of the month is coming and I can't add new Encounters, I'll release the new Sites without them, since they already have their own encounter tables, using encounters from the core book. It's a LOT of content, so this will keep you guys busy for a while, haha. I added a couple of really cool things that can happen only in these new outdoor sites, so I cannot wait to hear your stories!

I think it's time to reveal what I've been working on for the past two months or so, my great secret project: A collector's edition of Disciples of Bone & Shadow, containing all the material from the core game + the Narrative Playbook, combined into one single, cohesive edition I'm calling Disciples of Bone & Shadow: Conquered Sun Edition. The reason why this is taking me so long to put together is that I didn't simply slap Disciples and the Narrative Playbook together and called it a day, I revised it all, integrated the different texts and rules into one single cohesive book. Since the content for the Whiteteeth Peninsula is much more developed than the one found in the core book for the Fractured Dominion, I even went ahead and basically made the Peninsula the default setting for the game, with the idea of releasing a supplement in the future dedicated exclusively to the Fractured Dominion.

And why release this, I hear you ask? Well, I want to have all the core rules in one same book, and I want it to be a deluxe, limited thing. It's going to be limited to 100 hand-numbered copies, hardcover bound in faux leather, hand stitched, with ribbon markers, and possibly a slipcase. The coolest part is, I'll be releasing this myself! I have years of experience working with prints and know perfectly what I'm doing, so I wanted to take this step. I love working with Exalted Funeral, but honestly they cannot keep up with the pace I need to release stuff. The book will be available via the Blackoath Games website, and Exalted Funeral will carry some copies for the US. Once the physical copies are gone, if Matt is okay with it I may upload it to DTPRG and sell it there as a PoD title. We'll see!

This doesn't interfere with the release of the Narrative Playbook by itself; I'm still pushing Matt to release it ASAP. I was hoping to have it out before I release this new Disciples edition, but I don't know if it will be possible. As for when this Conquered Sun Edition will be out, I'm aiming for a late December release!

This new edition will also have some new art, and completely new layout, of course. It should be the ultimate edition of the game's current version, and a new start for Blackoath Entertainment! I am aiming for this book to be one of the most luxurious books ever released in the RPG sphere, and without breaking the bank! And if this goes well, I intend to release deluxe editions of other games, and not only my own... More on that in the future, though!

I'd ask you if you keep this between us though, cause literally only you, Matt for EF and the artists know about it, and I'm not ready to make the announcement yet!
