Update - 06/09/2020

Hello! I'm back with another weekly update. This has been a stressful week, because I've been working on lots of projects! For starters, I've finally started working on Seekers Beyond the Shroud cards! This is something I've wanted to have since the Kickstarter, but Matt (from Exalted Funeral) said that it would mean too many extra costs, and since he's the KS expert, I believe him. This first set of cards includes all the results from the tables to play missions (Sites, Events, Discoveries, Encounters), plus a few new ones! If the reception is good I already have another deck planned with more of the game's tables turned to cards. This allows the game to be played faster, and it gives it an extra physicality which I like. Some of you have already suggested I should make map cards as well, so I'd love to do it down the line. The cards will be released both in physical format and PDF via DriveThruRPG initially, but if I see there's a lot of demand I may make my own print run. Oh yeah, and all Master level Patrons will get the PDF for these, of course.

Aside from the cards (which are going to take a while to be done, because it's slow as hell and it's over 300 of them), I've been working on a secret project; something I've wanted to do for a while now as well, and that will mean a big step for Blackoath Games, and fulfill the requests of many people! I can't say more until it's a bit more advanced, but I'm planning on releasing it in December. And no, this is not turning Disciples of Bone & Shadow into a setting for OSE (my largest project in the works, with the blessings of EF and Necrotic Gnome); that's still planned to happen after Under Ashen Skies is done. I just wish I could clone myself and assign each clone to a project, haha. Or even better, hire people... It's a good thing I don't know how to draw, otherwise I'd be attempting to illustrate everything myself as well. I don't know how the hell Diogo Nogueira does it, and he even has kids!

Last but not least, I've continued work on the Lifepath system for Disciples. I'm surprised you guys voted for the Archetype structure, instead of free-form! That's the way I'm facing it though. I still want to get this done and the new, bizarre Archetype I talked about previously for this month. As always, Patreon content is a priority for me cause you guys are the best, so I can say it will happen.

These new projects unfortunately mean that I had no time to work on Under Ashen Skies this week... I hope I can get back to it soon. I'll keep you guys posted.
