the last two people that got ahold of this hard drive got blackmailed so hard, that they are now completely off social media and had to completely disappear. And now Mckamey Manor is trying to blackmail us......... and this is the story

I’m dying to find out what you do with the hard drive. I think that there are legit crimes on there (like dragging a guy) that can be prosecuted regardless of a waiver and NDA, if the statute of limitations isn’t up yet. I do think the victims deserve a chance at some justice. But I want to see some footage first!!! I want to see Russ with the mask off. I’m kinda surprised by this attempt at retaliation, and that it is Kelly doing it. Honestly, in the series, I got the feeling that she actually liked y’all, but was very annoyed by what you were doing and the position you put her in. I mean, she bought one of your T-shirts!

My prediction is that there is nothing bad enough that you would feel legally obligated to hand over to authorities and at this point you are making a very sensational(satirical or otherwise) video about it. i mean he only started talking about the hard drive in his latest video and there hasn’t been an update since. i don’t think he’s been teasing it at all. the majority of patrons voted for longer episodes once a month. it’ll be another week or two when we hear from ben next most likely. that’s not teasing, it’s just him following what we all voted for.

i'm a little confused here with the video timeline - there's episode 1, on youtube. episode 2 was removed on youtube and is supposed to be here, and but it not here. episode 3 is on youtube. there's four other more recent videos but none of them are titled as officially "episode 4, 5" etc. Help?!

She's got an almost cult-like commitment to Russ. It's almost like she believes in his inflated ego and finds validation in being a right hand for him. Some people have damage that just makes them particularly vulnerable to landing this way and being manipulated by egotists, no matter how "smart or wise" they may be in other areas of life. This is the sort of thing that can make people commit to blatant self-deception and contradiction. Veteran fans of Reckless Ben might recognize this human pattern from his videos infiltrating some of the more prominent modern cults, which is why I think Ben is the perfect man to expose MM. It could be that Kelly started to believe Ben when Russ reeled her back in, or it could be that she's just desperately clinging to her loyalty to Russ and she's convinced herself that he's doing something good for people, so maybe "the ends justify the means." Maybe this was her plan from the beginning, and maybe Russ even put her up to it. The flipping and flopping IS confusing, but I think the result is that neither one of them will trust her. Russ has been shown to have a bad habit of casting people into the role of "spy" and then disowning them soon after. Maybe when Russ goes down, she'll pretend she was "really on team Ben this wholleee time," but as of now, she still seems fully committed to MM. It would be fun if this were some well-guarded ruse that Ben is playing close to the chest and Kelly really is just messing with Russ at this point, but I don't want to get my hopes up. If anything, Kelly has already helped Ben exceedingly -- by exposing just how brainwashed Russ's following really is.

So just a quick question, I’ve been following from the first video and it seemed like the whole thing was fake because they didn’t let you guys get through the first physical part, but if they have video of them torturing people then wouldn’t it not be fake? Would you guys be able to do a video on how Russ chooses who they actually torture? Like how he decides who gets through the dumb physical test. There USED to be a real "haunted house." As in he had an actual space and props. He has been chased out of several properties and between divorce and losing his employees, the haunt no longer exists. He didn't use to do it solo, and didn't do the physical torture himself. Now all that exists is the exercising nonsense because he only have the rat cage and the drowning box and the freezer left. No one can go in the haunt because it doesn't exist in the same way the prize money doesn't. Hope that helps.
At the end of the day, Kelly will ever be able to leave McKamey Manor without facing the same harassment everyone else has. Whether or not she was really going to leave, it's clear that Russ has spooked her. She says she's getting threats? How many of those threats are coming from team Ben? Because threats are kind of a team Russ thing.

Genuinely opening up to someone while they're being "fake nice" to me, only for them to turn around and try to use my vulnerabilities against me... it hurt, but exactly what ben said! It only made the other person look like an asshole. We didn't tell these people any secrets, just being open. Them trying to use our mental health and life struggles against us reflects badly on THEM, not us. You guys are doing great ❤️

My sense is that the prior two people who shied away from the spotlight under pressure were socially isolated and inept (as in those who get into internet torture videos, in the first place). You are popular, brave, intelligent, dogged journalists. You apply the pressure, instead of feel the heat. My only recommendation here: send a copy of the footage to FBI, Lawrence Cty Sheriff, PD and DA.

I wonder why Mckamey Manor being shutdown, or Russ Mckamey facing any real justice terrifies people like Kelly and people in the MM Facebook group? Obviously Russ stated he will never stream what actually happens in the haunt, so what do they get from watching someone do weird exercises in a yard. There are waaaay cooler extreme haunt walk-throughs on YouTube. Even the hulu documentary features snippets from Miasma which actually seemed terrifying. Maybe those people have a kink for being edged?
