Read STEEPLE 18: Maggie's Party pt 1 in full now
Twenty-five years since the first Bobbins comic was put on the internet... and no visible improvement has occurred ho ho! But I'll keep trying, at least until we reach the 50th anniversary, when I will retire. I'll be 72 and enough will, quite frankly, be enough at that point.
A new story for you! This is a two parter, and I think a further issue (number 20) will round out the current arc. I've not spoken to Dark Horse about a volume four as I've been writing something else for them, but fingers crossed these will end up in print.
Hope you enjoy it! PDF linked under the cover image. If the spirit moves you, say hello in the comments. On the current schedule, Steeple 19 will follow in eight weeks rather than seven, as I try to make up lost time. I'll be back on track in the new year.

Are those Nuts of Brians' Dumpy and Rusty?
It's been a while since I thought about Dumpy's Rusty Nuts.
If you ever bring out a hard back collected edition of your stories I would totally buy it.
Congrats again for the bobinanniversary. Thanks for doing some of the best comic I've reading in the last years.
I really need to up by non-decorous visitors and skylarking game
Well, blimey!
On holiday. Planned to go to Boscastle this morning before I read this. I expect I can get Tizer at the Spar.
Tell Maggie hi for me if you see her!
Sun under a bucket? Cursed, you say?
Also, I meant to add (but I hit ctrl-enter instead of shift-enter): You are in my personal inspiration book on the page of five "Writers who are my role models." The others are Kurt Vonnegut, Ursula K. LeGuin, Rob Brezsny, and Paul Simon.
What a fun and ominous episode! Can't wait for part 2. I started reading Bobbins in 1998, read back in the archive to the first strip on my very first visit to the site, so I guess I'm one of your 25-year customers.
I missed Bobbins, didn't start reading till sometime near the beginning of Scarygoround, but I've been enjoying everything ever since, not quite 25 years more like 20.
If you've been posting content online for 25 years, I've been reading it for about 22 of them. Congrats on the milestone, sir!
Thanks for these PDFs! I'm trying to stick to reading day-by-day on th the site "as God intended", but I love having a complete digital library as well.
Hey, if God had intended us to only read one or fewer pages a day, They wouldn't have provided us with full issue PDFs.
Congrats on 25! Excellent and excellenter.
unfortunately I have to rely on nerve impulses triggering muscle contractions to move me, but Hello nevertheless!
Dramatic developments!
More more more! Oh wait, this is part 1... so more more more encouraged
Been excited for this since the reminder on Friday that a whole new arc was beginning. Thanks as always!
Happy birthday to John's drawing arm.
John, if you're going to make comics until you're 72, then you've given me a reason to hang on until I'm, um, somewhat older than that, so I can read them all!
Hello.
Does not disappoint. Wonderful read for a quiet sunday afternoon.
The spirit has moved me - what a great read!
Hello in the comments!
