GDxB cover quest begins
I'm working on a print version of the Giant Days x Batman crossover to sell "under the table" at conventions. For fairly obvious reasons, I won't be putting Batman on the cover, mentioning his involvement, or selling it through my website. I made a cover that I thought was okay but didn't 100% feel like a cover I want to put on this book. I want something a bit more energetic and "Giant Days".
But I post it here (at the point I abandoned it - there were more elements that I never rendered) as it was a fun drawing.

Oh, that's really fantastic! I can see why it didn't quite have the right feel for a GD cover, but the hands, the skirt -- just wonderful!
I'd like to see the 'I'm Bat Mentile' t-shirt on the cover
Beautiful cover, i love it. But it needs Daisy and Susan in it too, or to have three different covers, one for each of them.
Yes, I agree. I want all three on there too.
Perhaps interested patrons could use this safe space to buy copies through the built-in private messaging platform, rather than listing it on a public website? Cover looks awesome though, so I'm sure the final one will be even cooler!
Where would one be able to find this table and its underside?
Love the bat-gloves!
Hoping the "ears" are part of the glove and not her actual thumbs. Otherwise, "ouch".
Insanely great cover!
Oh my god! I want this print version!!
Ah, is this why the badmachinery dot com version of GDxB has been taken down?
Yes, that is why it's vanished.
I think it looks pretty good, but ultimately it's down to you being happy with it, of course. (Love the non-trademark-infringing way Esther has her hands posed.)
As far as you've gone, it looks pretty awesome and the bat is worked in very cleverly.
Understandable that you're shooting for having it as a convention exclusive, but I'm quietly sad that I'll never get to put it in my collection, on what I lovingly refer to as the John Allishelf.
Same here. But totally understandable!
Sassy... secretive...
That’s a lovely piece. Perhaps a bit more SGR than GD, but that’s no bad thing!
That is a wonderful cover. Smashing outfit
