Something new
My new four-issue limited series with Max Sarin on art and Sammy Borras colouring has just been announced by Dark Horse. It's out in April.
I will write more on it closer to the time, as there is a lot of background nonsense attached to this long-gestating tale (as Patreon subscribers will be well aware, it has been in the works for a couple of years in various forms). But I'm confident that what will emerge is absolutely its best realisation. I scribbled the whole thing out for Max while scripting so there is a good chance you will get to see its worst realisation too. All in time.
But I can give you one little gem of trivia to get you started: the commissioning of this series is the direct result of my asking Dark Horse if I could do one issue of Conan The Barbarian called "Conan + The Blood Egg". We have to hope that Conan + The Blood Egg will eventually come out as it is a very compelling tale. And short.
FREE THE BLOOD EGG!!!

I am beyond excited for this
B L O O D ! E G G !
Eddie Izzard: Cake or death? Shauna: Yes.
Yay for TGBBO! Yay for Shauna! Also yay for blood egg, though maybe they should have published that first - one probably needs a blood egg to make a bloody cake.
YEEEEEEESS!!!!!!! Shauna and Lottie together and a mystery... AWESOME! Can't wait for see what is the case. Also, a Conan made by John Allison is really something I want to see.
I realize I assume Lottie will be in the story and I shouldn't. Shauna is perfectly capable of solving a mystery alone (or with Blossom♡), but the desire to see Shauna and Lottie investigate again together is very big.
Oh yes! And looks like that's Shauna! Can we look forward to a Shauna/Charlotte crossover in the future?
Blood egg! Blood egg!
WOW.
I don't see anything on the Dark Horse site... where's their announcement? Added: Ah, here: https://comicbook.com/comics/news/great-british-bump-off-comic-series-announced-john-allison-max-sarin/ Also: Hmm. https://www.red-herring-games.com/product/the-great-british-bump-off-murder-mystery-party-game-6-to-20-players/
Hell yeah! I'm super excited for this!
Awesome cover art. Can't wait to read it!
So excited! Shauna in Max Sarin's style!
Is that Shauna!?!?!? I thought that it looked like her, but I wasn't sure. If this is the return of Shauna, then they're really burying the lede! Either way I'm excited and will be pre-ordering print copies.
YES YES YES YES
Yessss! Murder! Cake! Cakey Murder! Murdery Cake!
a) I love everything about this b) John, Dark Horse haven't had the Conan licence for years
No one needs a Conan license in 2023 Mark!!!! This Cimmerian is public domain!
A Shauna comic? I'm in!
A Shaumic, if you will
Excellent! Glad you managed to make it work, as it was always a great idea.
Whoo hoo!
It’s been a while since I’ve made a pull request at a local comic shop—does this announcement typically mean it’s now able to be ordered by the shops or should I wait until we’re closer to publication? Say, March?
Don't wait! Comic shops order about three months out, by March, might be too late.
YAY! Looking forward to it!
