NEW BOBBINS BOOK 3
Here's the third of the New Bobbins ebooks, it's a short one, collecting the post-Mordawwa Erin and The Boy stories from 2016/17. There's a new essay at the start that might only be notable for containing the synopses of the issues for my rejected Mordawwa pitch. PDF at the bottom of the post.
The fourth and final PDF will follow in a couple of weeks.

I can’t thank you enough for putting these out there. I lost track of your work after the jump to Bad Machinery and it’s been fantastic not only reconnecting with the SGR characters I remember, but also seeing where they went years later. It’s about as wild and woolly as I could’ve hoped for! Here’s to New Bobbins vol. 4 whenever it lands!
If one day you decide to put these PDFs on Lulu, I would buy the books.
The introductory essay was really interesting. Thanks so much for sharing. It's generous of you to share these insights into your creative process once in a while.
That essay made me feel a little guilty for loving this story so much, haha. Any time there's a nod at the "higher narrative" with the characters' ongoings (Tetris/CMYK/what have you) I get giddy. Plus, I like Erin & The Boy's overall arcs, as much as it seems like you don't!
I never know how to explain how I feel about them. I did my best but stories like that are the opposite of what I set out to do when I put on my green sun visor and sit down at the drawing board each morning. They lack grace.
