Wicked Things: last chance to get it
In 2020 Max Sarin and I worked on a series for BOOM! called Wicked Things - a prototype version of Solver with a kind of Mentalist crime-of-the-week police procedural attached to it. It was good (and sold pretty well in trade paperback) but was, I think, a victim of a lot of bad timing, and was cancelled with the main story arc incomplete. If you really want a physical copy of it, grab one now wherever you can while it's still available, because it will be going out of print in 90 days.

Thank goddess i bought one at my local comic shop when it first came out
I greedily devoured this morsel the moment it appeared in my local comics shop like a baby bird seeking nourishment
Any chance you'll self publish it?
I don't think so - I've currently got no plans for it. I'll probably make it available digitally but leave it at that.
I have the individual issues but I'm contemplating buying the collection.
According to the cataloging gods the only other book I own with “Wicked” in the title is _The Wicked Ways of Malcolm McLaren_. Not sure if that’s considered “good company” or not…? But any negative associations will surely be warded off by PFT and Reggie Watts’ cameos.
Sad to see it go. Need to grab a copy. It really was bad timing as it would've easily road the momentum off elsbeth, high potential and poker face soon after.
I have a soft spot for this one... I think it was actually the first thing I read after Bad Machinery.
Reminds me how fragile any form of media ultimately is It’s why preserving as much as possible is important
One of my very favorite things you've ever done despite how things worked out. Poor ol Lottie. Ordered!
Where do I get it? Topatoco?
No, you can order it from any comic shop or bookshop.
Outrageous! Fortunately I snagged mine when it came out. Highly recommended for anyone who hasn't encountered it.
I’m so glad I got this preordered when the trade came out. Really sucks to see it go
