PDF collection
I've made a "collection" of the 44 PDFs I've put up on Patreon - various downloadable issues of webcomic chapters, some strip collections of New Bobbins, scripts, rough versions. All in one handy place. The link is here, and I hope you find... WHAT YOU'RE LOOKING FOR!
And now... the ceremonial arrival of the sexy ghost.

This is a great post! There were a few gems in there that I'd missed. In the process of comparing my collection to this one, I also tracked down a few older PDF posts that aren't (yet) included in the collection above, but which would likely merit inclusion: https://www.patreon.com/posts/read-solver-in-67515996 (Solver 6: Autumn Special) https://www.patreon.com/posts/read-solver-door-69030808 (Solver 7: Green Door) https://www.patreon.com/posts/read-solver-8-in-73594116 (Solver 8: The Urn) https://www.patreon.com/posts/great-british-1-82173976 (GBBO #1 roughs) https://www.patreon.com/posts/kill-or-be-quilt-133434386 (KOBQ #3 roughs) https://www.patreon.com/posts/on-wicked-things-48906875 (Circus Windows p1 breakdown) There are also a few other posts I tracked down which don't actually have PDFs, but which arguably include the "spirit" of a PDF (complete-ish collections / series of images), and might also catch the interest of anyone interested in the PDF posts: https://www.patreon.com/posts/early-steeple-1-37136344 ("Early Steeple work") https://www.patreon.com/posts/steeple-secret-1-40548842 (Steeple: Secret Sentai p1) https://www.patreon.com/posts/steeple-secret-41101310 (Steeple: Secret Sentai p2) https://www.patreon.com/posts/steeple-secret-41926932 (Steeple: Secret Sentai p3) https://www.patreon.com/posts/steeple-secret-42588200 (Steeple: Secret Sentai p4) https://www.patreon.com/posts/how-to-draw-go-135864752 (HTDCTSGRW) https://www.patreon.com/posts/cattywampus-1-48441021 (Steeple: Cattywampus) https://www.patreon.com/posts/48237161 (Giant Days: Here Comes Gothy) https://www.patreon.com/posts/holiday-pts-1-6-117747315 (Holiday Harlequinade) https://www.patreon.com/posts/fill-in-bobbins-72456608 ("Fill In Bobbins" - post 1 of 12) Thanks for documenting so much of your work and process -- it's always a delight to read! ❤️
Brook this is tremendously helpful. I've opted to keep the process-y rough PDFs out of the collection but I've added the other ones you suggested.
Thank you for this! :D
Thank you so much for this John, I'm a relatively new subscriber and this is an amazing treasure trove of comics, and I promise to remember on this tier until the point I'm penniless and about to be kicked out of my home (which I predict will be about 2038, given the way the world's going right now!)
I love everything about this strip
I loved that Bobbins series. Poor Bruno and the poit-ing stars...
I /think/ I have all of these, but I'm going to go through my collection and check. Thanks, J.A.!
Oooh, this is super handy. It makes up for my being VERY haphazard over the years about the PDFs... I like the PDFs for revisiting... but I'm also weird about not wanting to "spoil" the web releases with them. (It's kind of nice having a trickle flow of serialized comics, right?)
Fantastic!
I just finished organizing and tagging my comics collection in Calibre, and let me tell you, trying to figure out how to sort the massive Tackleford universe was no small task.
I'm familiar with Calibre on desktop but haven't used it. I understand it's possible to get e-readers on Android devices that can work with Calibre. Have you tried any or have recommendations?
It’s good to have them all organized. Speaking of PDFs, would you ever consider putting up “Heavy Metal Hearts + Flowers”? I noticed that it isn’t officially available anywhere right now.
Thank you! I had them all already, but clicking through them brought again to my attention Max Sarin's incredible cover for Circus Windows — probably my very favorite thing Max has ever done, and that is saying a hell of a lot.
You're too good to us, John!
Thank you!
