As far as I got
Here are the twelve pages (plus cover) of the final part of the story which can no longer be named that I made before the hammer came down. Please don't share them outside Patreon. Someone has been reposting the pages from the PDFs elsewhere and it makes me... very depressed. These in particular are unfinished, unedited work. There were ten pages more pages written and roughed to finish the story but unless I'm confined to a hospital bed/Rear Window-style scenario with nothing else to do to entertain myself, I don't think they'll ever be drawn.

EDIT: multiple people are asking if I'll run the ten rough pages that finish the story - they contain ideas and lines I can reuse elsewhere so alas, not this time.

OMg dude… I love your brain so much.
There should be a hell, then a special extra hell for people who share art that they shouldn't
John, you're such a tease!
Behold the Power of Woad! ... and turnips, a potent amalgam.
Also, is that Erin at the bottom left corner of the banqueting table? Perhaps not so secretly yearning for her sister's throne?
Ha ha yes a little easter egg!
This is better than any Conan stuff Howard wrote. That's my theory, and I'm sticking to it!
I feel like I've just been allowed to behold the Holy Grail.
Delightful! Glad to see Shelley continues to appreciate heroic nudity in all of her multiversal incarnations..
Thanks for sharing these, and no, I won't share them. Unless I recommend supporting your Patreon.
I am in charge of the turnips 😆
Thank you!
Thank you John, These are all so wonderful, but so sad it won't be official. Shelley and Co are just so fun in this. Again I don't think I've been this excited for a Conan title ever. I hope someday these samples can be published without scrutiny. until then, whenever it comes, I deeply welcome the return of Lottie and Claire in the much nearer future.
At least it peters out in a good gag.
Will be eagerly waiting to see how John will reuse the idea of someone floating through a doorframe. Oh, to be left hanging!
That goose is *chef's kiss*!
Thank you, John. Thank you for these pages. The series has been very entertaining.
Is there a spot to find the remaining pages of rescuing the blood egg that were never published to the web? I thought they were published here at some point, but I hadn't bothered downloading the pdf as I wanted to just enjoy them as they were released publicly. I am guessing the post was taken down?
I was in the same boat and Jack Christmas tipped me above... the links in the patreon emails still work!
Hmm, methinks the verb in the last panel of page 10 should be "coupled". Parody is free of copyright restrictions. Terry Pratchett got away with "Cohen the Barbarian" for years. Change his name to Robhow the Lowborn and you're in the clear.
The trademark holders are very aggressive and quite capable of nuisance legal action. It's not worth the risk. This mess has cost me so much time and stress already.
This is great! It calls out for a RE-NAMING! CROM-GUY!
Extremely unclassy to post outside, for sure. The understood private space with a friendly group is what makes this place very special.
When you first posted you were doing a [REDACTED] comic I thought it was utterly mad. And what exquisite madness it was! These really were pretty damn great, and it sucks we probably won't ever see the end, but thanks for giving us at least some closure with the "Final 13".
Man, that sucks. Loved this comic.
Fantastic work - I wish that someone else hadn’t been in control of the intellectual turnips. Thank you for sharing these pages.
I really enjoyed this series. So sorry how it worked out. Thanks for sharing what you can.
In light of these events, it's now a moral imperative that we get a John Allison fantasy epic. Someday...
Still the best Conan series in a long while even without any mention of the barbarian.
Thank you for sharing this! And sorry to hear about the person sharing pages from the old issues, though I can see why they might have come to think doing so was ethically acceptable. I just hope that people can come around to respecting that a line has been drawn under this whole saga.
They're not evil, Jack, it's just one of those situations where something I worked very hard at has been taken out of my hands. A question of ownership, if you like.
Rats and darn! Well, at least these pages and their glory have seen light and we Patrons got to bask a while in their glimmer. ONWARD!
Headed off at the pass! :D
John, thank you. I love this story. If there's any chance of sharing the roughed 10 pages I would love to see them.
Ohhhhhh, what could have been. Page 13 just leaves me hangin'...
The laws of intellectual property rights have deprived the world of greatness. I am saddened, but not altogether depressed, as I remain but among the few souls privileged enough to witness-- *hack* *cough* HRRKKKK I mean... great story! Love it. Bla bla
What a pisser. It was good while it lasted.
Awesome, John. Thanks. My address is nogginhead@yahoo.com, among friends who can fill in the blanks. (I'm sorry, Mr. Allison. I'm greedy.)
Thanks for posting these, John. They are delightful! I love how Carlota's detective skills kick right in.
Oh, these are wondr'us indeed! I regret only that I did not download said pdfs when I had the chance, choosing to ration my enjoyment to the daily postings. (I don't see them in the Patreon, am I overlooking it, or doomed?)
You can try looking for links in the email versions of the posts before you give up.
Would really love to see more of this, even if it meant the lead character had to get a facelift
I tried, Mark, I felt ill basically ruining what i consider my best ever drawing work. It won't happen.
So, you're saying we have to turn you into a paraplegic to get the rest of the story. Is that the message intended?
OMG what a cliffhanger!
Excellent work. Thanks for sharing them here!
I can't believe Titan didn't beg to publish them really. It would need to be in Savage Sword Of, to really do the outlaw work justice!
Thanks John. Would love to see the 10 rough pages to know how this would have finished.
Hmmm. I don't want to be too forward, but a Glem/Lottie homage to Rear Window would tick so very many of my boxes...
Thanks John! FWIW, I for one would find the roughs pretty interesting, if only to see where things go :)
As above, they contained material too good to throw away.
Thank you for sharing this. I wont wish a broken leg for you, but in good health I hope you feel okay sharing the writing and roughs one day. I thoroughly enjoyed the roughs for NEMS 2.
Normally I would share them but they contained a number of fun twists and good jokes I can possible use elsewhere so they will stay under wraps.
