SMAUGUST DAY 16: TARGOYLE
Next up is the Targoyle! Inspired by Gogmazios from Monster Hunter, this guy is the epitomy of an Elder Dragon! Except, y'know... a little more tar-covered.

This may be overly simple. Is it Monster Hunter? *Edit forgot there 'er'.

Okay so it’s not as simple as “Dragons that can’t fly”. Maybe it’s Dragons that don’t have a natural fly speed? Darkveld has nothing and Targoyle can only fly while its core is heated. The other thing that comes to mind are “Dragons that have hybrid weapons crafted after them”? Darkveld has the great axe that can convert into a Shortsword and shield and Targoyle has a Gunlance. Though this may be too hyper specific.
