Monster Fusion Vote #9 + Previous Winner!
Exploring Hallownest has definitely been an experience, we can tell you that much! Fighting all these infected bugs took a lot of our time, especially when most of the team was busy exploring Pharloom instead, and so this ended up being a much simpler batch than most.
But fret not! We have now mapped and explored every inch of glorious Pharloom, and we won't let our time go to waste: that's where we're heading for our next batch! Silksong was a fantastic game, and we want to share some of our favorite monsters with you guys - maybe even some of our favorite NPCs, who knows! We might even try to sneak in AWOO familiar in there, we'll see...
As always, the winner will be decided in exactly one week, and the variant for the winner will be released alongside the next vote!
Making Up a Storm!
Yeah, that was another wash, it was crazy! The draconimbus got ALMOST 50% of the votes in this batch, which is pretty insane-- worst part is, we had already made a familiar for it, so we couldn't do that as a bonus reward!
This left us in a tough spot: we considered giving it lower CR variants, which would be easy enough, but that would take away from the Draconimbus' apocalyptic status, which we felt wouldn't make sense. We ended up giving it a lair instead, adding an extra layer of danger to its fight to the foolish players that decide to challenge it while in said lair!

As cool as they all were, I feel that Soulstitcher had an unfair advantage, seeing as it's the protag for Silksong.
This round of monster wheel was pretty cool.
Not gonna lie the lair being the extra thing is a tad disappointing :/
I totally get that (given I'd've loved to write a subclass, or a new species, or something to that degree), but not every winner can be a Circle of the Blade, or get a whole extra familiar. We have very limited time, already had a lot of extra effort to add the Meowsoon familiar in this batch, and had to make something simpler.
