[Monster Wheel] Planeswarden - CR 15 Huge Giant

Force, Elemental Planes, Giant, None

"Are our forces ready to march on the Plane of Air?"

"Erm… yes, your Magmagnificence, but, hum… we might be delayed by a, uh, minor issue."

"A minor issue?! The Brazen Legion is the finest fighting force ever seen on the Elemental Plane of Fire—thousands of our finest efreeti, hardened by months of arduous training in hostile environments! Their armaments gleam with the sweat of the azer blacksmiths who painstakingly forged them! The most brilliant strategists in existence have spent countless nights devising our plan of attack! What sort of 'minor issue' could possibly waylay us?!"

"A group of planeswardens has begun to patrol the border, o Sulphurous One."

"… How’s next week for you, then?”

— Conversation between an efreeti prince and his general

The Elemental Planes are a chaotic, turbulent place, and nowhere more so than in the regions where one plane borders another. There, fire and water produce bursts of scalding steam in their ceaseless war, while air and earth tear at one another until only dust remains. There, each plane vies for dominance, driven by legions of its native denizens seeking to expand their domain. And there, the planeswardens roam to ensure that this struggle remains eternal. These towering, awe-inspiring giants, infused with the power of the elements, devote themselves to one purpose—to preserve the delicate equilibrium between the four planes—and stop at nothing to eliminate any who threaten to tip the scales.

Guardians of Order. In their interactions with other species, planeswardens are stoic and reserved, with little patience for matters unrelated to their solemn purpose. This adds to their mysterious and fearsome reputation, which is often enough to deter troublemakers from tampering with the elemental homeostasis. Those bold enough to dismiss the warnings and stories are usually cowed into submission when they finally lay eyes upon the mighty giants. After all, no amount of new territory is worth a planeswarden’s pummeling—they are known to be quite thorough and zealous in the execution of their duties.

Jailers of Chaos. Planeswardens remain intriguingly secretive about the motivations for their tireless vigilance, fostering speculation among cosmological scholars. One prevalent theory suggests that at the very heart of the Elemental Chaos—where the maelstrom churns so violently that even elemental life cannot exist—dwells a monstrous, primordial creature whose origin harkens back to the dawn of creation. Hypotheses differ on whether this titan lies in eternal slumber or tormented imprisonment, but they agree on one chilling premise: that it’s the balance between the Elemental Planes that keeps it safely contained, and the planeswardens work to prevent the cataclysm that would ensue were this creature ever to walk the world.

If a party harvested this creature after fighting, would you say they could harvest elemental parts of it as well as giant parts? Given its volatile elemental nature

I could see some elemental bits being harvestable!
