Cold, Arctic, Celestial, None
“The northern lights shine down upon the Iskbreen Mountains tonight—a guardian angel patrols the tundra, watching over you. That, or it’s a spontaneous atmospheric phenomenon with no bearing whatsoever on the success of the mission. Either way, good luck on your hunt, fellas!“
-Mayor Edvin of Iskfjord delivering a motivational speech
Where Humanoids tread, so must guardian angels—and Humanoids tread everywhere. Auroras are serene Celestials who watch over the sparse souls bold or desperate enough to eke out a living in frozen glaciers and desolate tundras. Like most angels, they take an anthropomorphic form, usually sporting a thin layer of frost over their skin or minute icicles hanging from their eyelashes. Yet their most striking feature remains their luminous wings, which fan out like radiant streaks of aurora celestialis. The calm, impassive demeanour of an aurora can make them appear callous to mortal eyes, but within their frozen body hides a warm heart and a hot-blooded desire to combat the evils of the world.
Watchers in the Cold. Inhabiting the snowy peaks of the Upper Planes, auroras are uniquely suited to wandering frozen wastes in search of those in need of aid. Beyond their natural resistance to the cold, they boast remarkable thermal vision, allowing them to pinpoint sources of heat even in the heart of the deadliest blizzard. In remote places such as the Iskbreen Mountains, sightings of celestial lights are considered auspicious omens, indicative that these watchful angels patrol the night skies.
Some Light Vanity. No creature is entirely without sin—not even angels. For all their virtues, auroras are known to harbour a powerful streak of vanity, particularly regarding their radiant wings. They take meticulous care to perfect the blend of colours and rhythm of their shimmering displays, achieving a unique style that sets each one apart. Like snowflakes, no two auroras’ wings are alike, and they take great pride in these personal emblems of beauty. To disparage an aurora’s chosen aesthetic is a grave insult, likely to provoke a swift challenge in defence of their honour.

I love the whole monster of the week kind-of thing, I do have some questions first one being are these brand new monsters or ones from hunts? Will some monsters in the future have the different level variants? And lastly do you have any future plans for more prosthesis items, if so will there be some magitech one, or even occult ones? Keep up the great work my players love looking at the art and using them.
These monsters are made specifically for the Monster Wheel project! We always spin multiple wheels (one for creature type, biome, damage type, etc...) so we can't predict what will come out of it or use it in an adventure - though with our extended catalogue we might end up reusing them within a hunt as an extra encounter or something! We don't have plans of having different CR variants for them, no. We always have plans to make new prosthesis, just depends on what we're feeling like making :) we did just recently make an Arcane inspired one for example!
The link for the statblock seems to be broken!
that's just patreon being patreon haha, the link is still attached at the bottom of the page :)
Aurora Mesmeralis? At this time of year, at this time of day, in this part of the country, localized entirely within my D&D table?
HAH!
