Status update!
Hi everyone! Just giving you a run down as to where we are with 0.15 which has been taking way longer than predicted (unfortunately):
All of the art for 0.15 has been done which means I will be able to focus on the next update content, plan for future characters and stream more.
Posing is closing in and should be completed soon. They're wrapping up the last 2 teachers.
We're bug fixing the first 2 teachers and coding the last 2 teacher flows. That's the last thing to tackle and then we can release.
The Patreon guideline patch is done. It will be rolled out at the same time as the 0.15 update!
About the Patreon patch due to guidelines:
Just wanted to repeat that the altered dialogues due to the new guidelines will not affect the actual scenes/events/flow of the game. Only the dialogue is altered to change how characters are related. The old original dialogues will be kept for later if we move to a new platform. I keep the original vision at heart and hope to bring it back when things change, I promise!
Content voting:
I will post a content voting poll tomorrow for what you guys would like us to focus on for the next update (0.16)! I will narrow down some options and exclude a few (characters that were affected by the new guidelines). But those excluded WILL come back and be improved/worked on in the future. They're some of the favourite characters, so I promise you that. :)
About the delay:
I want to apologise for the 0.15 delay. A lot of unpredictable things have happened in the last 2 months which has slowed our usual release rate and I will try to make it up to you all in the future. Thanks to those who are supporting us and believe in our project - I won't let you down!

I'm quite sure the last piece of coding is about testing the game and solve the bugs... Just be patient, they're probably trying to give you a game that doesn't crash in the middle of your fapping.

free game when people actually supported this game nearly 30k per month? if they sell this game, i doubt it will generate 30k per month. in fact, if they sell this game, ppl will just download it and crack the game and distribute it freely. let's just admit 1 thing for sure, these coders don't appreciate the monthly support from their fans. DC really need to find new coder or I'm taking back my 10$ patreon back
How can you blame the coders? DC took 4 months to draw and write the damn scenes. Coding only began maybe at the start of this month. And keep in mind that coders can't do crap if the art and posing are not done.
At least put is a "see more" button, so we don't have to scroll 10 pages of one single comment for god sake.
We ain't getting the release and on top of that these spamming has increased 10 folds on this page in the last few days. Patreon is so busy fucking the creators that it can't put in counter measures for these spammers.

So they might very well take more time to finish a task, SPECIALy the last one, which includes testing and bug fixing. The coders are doing fine.. This last 1% is the round 1 testing and bugfixing... They ahve to take their time because when they used to release the update for us to test, ppl complained A LOT. so now we dont get to test because ppl are impatient.

It's fascinating to watch the effect of this game on people. Even though there are a lot of other games but still we are blue-balled by the Summertime Saga. When the last update came, I promised myself not to follow the progress of the game anymore but to wait a year or so and get back to find a lot of new stuff but after a month or so it became a habit to check the Summertime Saga's Patreon daily.

Lazy ass? This is not a small update with 4 teachers and they was set back awhile cuz of Patreon changes about incest stuff. To me you are just a complainer about a game that is free for all when it is done but still most people complain every min and ask for when new release comes out with the progressbar. Most people are so selfish that they do not care that that people have other lives, kids and family outside making a porngame that you can wank to. Some of these people probably have other jobs they have to commit to as well, and irl stuff may also be contributing to slow progress. They don't have to give this game for free, but they do it anyways. They could make us pay for it, but they'd rather create and watch their fan base grow. It won't help if you keep fucking complaining and demanding for people to be fired, that just results in lack of motivation. The longer it takes the better it'll turn out.

Patreon no longer allows anything related to incest, so the things with the mother, sister, aunt, and things between Erik and his mother, are all changed to remove any relation.

Is there a way you could alter it so that we could fill in the blank for the relationships? Just have it set to House keeper or w/e and then when the game first starts you can alter it when you talk to them? I dunno just seems like this is easily work around-able.

They have to be, if DC wants to be able to continue to use Patreon as his crowdfunding platform (for now). One small blessing in all this is that only the dialogue is being altered, and no scenes are being cut out. And once DC manages to find another platform that offers better creative freedom, rest assured the game will be restored to what it once was.

Okay, it's taking a Bit longer to find a donation site that'll allow DC to make the game he wants. So until I find one, and I Will find it, I was wondering if, perhaps, you were to try adding a donation button to the Summertime Saga website? Cut out the middle man, as it were. Then, all you would need to do is post updates, and such, on a Twitter or something. Something to look into, right?๐

I am very disappointed at the prospect of dialogue change, I understand the reason for this. I recon I will be discontinuing supporting via Patreon, as those mongrels who get a cut of e fee, changed the bloody rules mid-stream.
