Corporate Development Memo 6/28/26
Yikes, I just realized it's past midnight so I guess technically the 29th.
I'm going to keep this one a bit shorter and I promise to write a better one next week.
I just had a rough rendering session with the one character that always finds new ways to crash my system. Celeste. It has to do with multiple things chief among them is her old model, her older hair, and trying to use certain clothes on her model. It's a kind of random thing that can pop up with a program called render queue (it allows me to render sequences of images in a row versus loading one at a time) and only Celeste can cause issues with this randomly. It impacted me enough last update that I was trying to find excuses not to use her for fear of this problem. I am considering just changing her hair to a newer style so if anyone has nice blond suggestions always open. (She kind of likes that streak of red/pink mixed in that blonde but I might not be too choosy lol)
Anyway, enough of that as that's my problem. Just felt good to vent and hubbie rubbing my shoulders now is really helping!
Weekly Output: 118 renders, 2495 images.
I didn't quite hit 2500 but pretty close.
I am trying to make time this week for some animations with a scene with Lily and Svetlana but I always prioritize getting 100 renders done and hope for time when it becomes free.
I am on the secret sub path now but still mixing in small set up scenes and other things if I want to mix things up one day.
One of my favorite parts of my life - and I believe a secret to my overall productivity - is being able to jump around everything I do with design, rendering, business and even errands depending on mood, etc. I really believe never feeling too much "in a rut" is a massive benefit to how I work overall.
I was feeling very frustrated when starting this but now I feel a lot better but I'll leave it here for now. I should be on to a third secret sub scene later this week I hope. Please have a great week all!
Love,
Tess
