Corporate Development Memo (4/20/26)

Hope everyone had a good weekend!

I'm finally past the tax and fiscal year stuff so feeling a bit of relief but pretty tired but glad to have it over! Sorry for the rambling but I'm in a certain mood - reflective - and might wander off path a bit.

My husband did a little bit more of the heavy lifting with finances/taxes and really was so wonderful to me so I got him a really nice gift this weekend just for no reason except love and gratitude! I really am not sure how to emphasize more how liberating it's been for me to have always been a super strong rock for everyone else to lean on my entire life...and now getting to lean myself against a stronger rock. Dominique Karlsson in KG complaining about never finding a strong young man out there was one small part of the real me before I met him. No character in KG is really similar to me overall as a whole, but a lot of them have small parts of me in different moods/modes/styles.

Hubbie also put up with me for enjoying the rare sporting event I like -- The Masters. (I play a lot of golf and honestly am pretty good!) My gift to him wasn't the NBA Finals again with a tickets and a trip with my father out to Dallas but it's still really good!

The game on all revenue streams combined passed a very major financial milestone this week so it kind of made me contemplative this weekend on the journey. When I started KG, I was also starting my design business and the first few months my business partner and I were only generating 2-3k gross combined revenue. I think KG after 0.1 release hit about $350 or so a month. I legit thought I may go back to my fallback plan I promised to my parents of going to law school to get a "real job." Some around me of course suggested using how I look in certain ways...but that's not how I'm wired. I really think in the current age of social media, young girls/women having a strong and amazing father is more important than it maybe ever has been before but maybe I'm biased.

Through KG, I got to work on another really cool project/game with a very strict NDA on it...and while I wish I could have written way more than I did on it, I still had fun. (I legit think I could have written a way better narrative and dialogue, but maybe I'm just too arrogant on this point, hehe) I've made some legit great friends through an adult porn game which is kind of wild to me in its own way. But it turns out there are some really wonderful people that just happen to be very kinky and enjoy a game like mine! I've had some weirdos/stalkers/harassers too but the overall good has been greater than the bad.

Both the game and the business have come a long way and my gratitude/payback for that is to try and do my best to pay it forward with effort, etc. No guarantee everyone likes things I write/render but I do guarantee my effort and good faith work is always present on a pretty consistent basis.

Sorry for the ramble, just get in a mood sometimes...here's the game update.

This week: 119 renders

Overall after 13 weeks: 1,610 renders and 83 raw animations (I predict 70 of them used in game)

This sub scene above has got one more part/section so I will keep working on that this week. After that, I am either going to try and circle back to some animating on the Angelica/Dom Kane scene or shift to either secret sub or some narrative stuff. I've got a pretty decent list of scenes ready to write in terms of the narrative goals/structure being finalized.

My next milestone is 2,000 renders for a big overview of everything. I feel like at that point I can really finalize the update outine (I tend to tweak the outline based on what play testing shows) with a bit more solid ground. I tend to have an outline to start but it tends to tweak a bit based on how I feel things go overall with the characters, pacing, etc.

I got pretty tired this week with multiple people around me sick/falling down metaphorically for their own reasons so I struggled a bit with finishing everything. I haven't written a ton for Anais and The Quantum Academy this week (always warned her this was the first thing I had to sacrifice on bad weeks for time) so I asked her to work on UI/menus more and render for now. I'm really really enjoying writing the first scenes for it. It's a different vibe entirely so it's been fun. It's also stressful because I had to try and write a short "bromance" scene and I feel this might not be my strength lol.

The images above are a sub scene all will see on that path, although stuff this week I work on might be a bit optional. Usually specific kinks are always optional choices by either Kane or a Mistress somehow...
