Really Cool New Tool that's Speeding Development
So for pallet swaps we've been trying very hard to go for a consistent deal, and in doing so we've found a new tool to be completely invaluable.
You'll find the ColorTool on Steam right now
Previously we had to manually go for transitions, and now we're able to get much cleaner builds out
There are obviously still kinks in the system we have to work out! But this has enormously sped up our ability to refine things, and we hope it'll expand how many pallet swaps we intend to include in the game.

neat, I saw that plugin somedays ago, really great
In short: This is the kind of patreon update many of us crave, thank you and keep them coming! The why: This sort of insight into the design process is awesome. Many of us are either creators or interested in how it all comes together, there's a sea of products and tools out there but its hard to find curation and use cases for them. This presentation was enough for me to grab the software and try it out - I'll now be gifting it to some other creators. Thanks again and stay awesome!
thats pretty cool. maybe you could even implement a color rarity scheme, like a certain color being rarer than the others and worth more when you momumit a monster?
An interesting tool. You need to try it in your game. Thanks)
That's awesome!
Will this include being able to change the skin and hair color for the protags? I apologize if this was answered at some other point!
I'd just heard of this! So awesome it's on Steam I'll definitely go nab a copy.
