Recommendations for Alan Partridge essential viewing? As a North American, where should I start?
Start with the Knowing Me, Knowing You TV series and go from there. There is stuff before that, like The Day Today, but you'll appreciate everything that came before KMKY more once you get to know Alan.
Can't wait for From The Oasthouse. I think it's Partridge's best ever work! "That's the great thing about the countryside, you can fall over it doesn't matter."
His "SHIT" as he falls over mid-sentence had me crying with laughter the first time I heard it.
Ortons punt - foot like a traction engine?
That was liquid football!
