Bob Backlund Retrospective (Extended Edition!)
Hiyoooooo!
We had a blast talking about Duckarse (I was taken aback by OOC just marking out constantly, lol) so we’ve put all of the bits and bobs together, combined with 2 extra segments (his career post-title reign, and if Bob Backlund can be a boy). Enjoy!

He was on Sam Roberts & Jim Norton’s Christmas special for Chip Chipperson he was SUPER weird, weird 64 in fact https://youtu.be/wYTj0Z-LQ-w
I met Backlund as apart of a work event in 2016. He was playing in a putt-putt tournament with Fink. To watch those beauties trance about a miniature golf course for an hour was a genuine treat. I'll always remember it fondly. (RIP Fink)
I've been waiting since Mania 9 for Jay to have to swallow Main Event Backlund. But I'm so glad you guys realised he's money and marked out a bit over him.
Met him a few years ago at a state fair. Tried to big time him with a hard handshake and he crushed my little sausage fingers. 10/10 experience.
ha ha! that's awesome bruddah! A lesson in SPORTS EDUCATION!
Haven't watched it yet but I'm very curious how a guy who held the title for 6 years, then won it again in the 90s (albeit briefly) could be a boy when your own definition of a boy precludes title winners!
It's a decent chat! Lemme know what ya think brother!
Nice Massive Attack background music
Thank u! I had a shit fit fighting myself for a few hours during editing, I really wanted it in the episode, but I couldn't due to youtube's policy. Sony/WMG are ruthless. But it seems to be ok for the moment with this video... Go figure 😂 well at least ya get to enjoy it here!
Now with 20 percent more duckarse! In all seriousness I was blown away with how awesome backlund was in the angle with Bret. Amazing heel work from him.
BLOWNNNN EEWWWEEEEYYYY
