January 2023: Swamp Goblins Vol.1 !!
We know that many of you are already smelling the beauty of Christmas in the air but we... We can't get away from the stinky odor of the Swamp! 🤢
As we said a few days ago, the first set of miniatures for the Goblin Tribes: the Swamp Goblins will come this next January 2023 to Highlands Miniatures.
This January 2023 Release will be composed of:
Seven (7) Swamp Goblins with Pikes
Seven (7) Alternative Swamp Goblins with hand weapons
Three (3) Swamp Goblins with Pikes Command Group
Seven (7) Swamp Goblins Archers
Three (3) Swamp Goblins Archers Command Group
One (1) Swamp Goblin Boss
The Swamp Goblins Archer command group is composed of three (3) miniatures: a Swamp Goblin Archer Captain, a Swamp Goblin Archer Bannerman and this wonderful Swamp Goblin Archer Musician with a singing toad.
The core set of miniatures for these Swamp Goblins Archers are seven (7) miniatures with wooden bows and arrows filled with toad poison. These miniatures aren't modular.
In the preview images you can see detailed renders of each one of these Swamp Goblin Archers.

Finally, as you may know, to celebrate the announcement of the new fantasy army, we launched a hero Goblin Leader mounted on a Feral Monster in Kickstarter a campaign for just one pound (1£), to reach as many fantasy goblin players as we can and spread the green-news!

Looking forward to making these guys! I'm very curious if your keeping the spider theme for the eventual cavalry units.

That is the moment I am finishing my patron, I do not care about greenskins at all, so will see you back with more dwarves. It just a shame for me that you start a new line whidout finishing the earlier one :/

These are unbeliably nostalgic to me, was only gonna stick around for the dwarves, but these are wonderful! I love frogs and toads, and i love the crooked theme of the Goblins, as repeated in their boots, hoods, noses and bows, super aestetically coherent and lovely, absolutely cannot wait to paint these a sickly green and bright orange toads 🥰🥰🥰

I look forward to recreating Battle for Skull Pass with all Highlands Miniatures this upcoming year. It was the first tabletop product I bought and what started my love for miniature wargaming! So many memories from just using those starter models. Gonna be a great year!

These are amazing, and have so much more character than the hooded goblins of a certain big company - painting a horde of these will be much less boring because they are more distinct in pose and appearance, yet still have the same simplicity when it comes to having to paint them - bravo. I'm also loving all the froggers - does this mean we're getting bouncy goblin knights on giant hoppy boys then? Or will it be weird, squiggly ball creatures with giant mouths? ...either way, I'm keeping my fingers crossed for lots of boing, boing, boing!

We are trying our best to create a narrative behind these miniatures, not to create just goblins but to build the universe behind them through the sculpts. Who knows what kind of mischievous creature of the Swamp will be used for these goblins as mount... A toad cavalry perhaps? Who knows.. 👀
Finally, they arrive, so many months of dwarves which I hate and won't use :( but now the goblins, these guys are looking good, I hope there is a huge range of them you will be doing.

Is the Goblin Leader the same as the Kickstarter one?
Do you mean the Swamp Goblin Boss miniature for this January 2023 Release? No, it will be a different miniature. :)
