August Surprise: the Wittemberg Wagon! - Download link
Good evening guys! ⚔️
The time has come... We can finally show you the surprise we've been working on for this August 2021 Release: the Wittemberg Wagon!
We always wanted to recreate this such iconic vehicle with our own vision, so this August we've finally had the chance to create it. We've really enjoyed the modeling process and the only thing we can say about that is... More 'renaissance' vehicles are to come in the future!
The Wagon is splitted in several pieces so you can print it with almost every resin printer. The Wittemberg Wagon comes with a 50x100mm square base and a round 95x120mm round base, and have a capacity of six/seven miniatures.
We've just finished the wagon, so along the day we'll send it to be pre-supported and it will be available soon.
The War Wagons were early fighting vehicles used for war back in the 15th century. They were used mainly to protect shooters in the battlefield, but also to protect heavy weapons like cannons. You can read more about the War Wagons here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/War_wagon

On the Sunland knights PLEASE use some references to make a VARIETY of slightly different styles of armor for men and especially horses as it would look unrealistic if all of the armor was exactly the same. Y
So are we getting Empire of Sunland Knights as well in propper Maximilian Armor ? :D
Of couse! Any renaissance army need a good cavalry unit!
Could there perhaps be a landship on wheels between the future engines of war?
Realistically speaking, wagons of the period often had a rider on one of the draft horses instead of on a seat in the wagon. The best model Landsknecht era miniature wagon was made the Elastolin Company of Germany in the 1960's and has rider on one of the horses to control it. In the case of this somewhat fanciful "war wagon", it would make sense for the rider on the lead horse to be fully kitted out in plate armor given how important an asset this "land ship" would be. Two horses could never pull such a huge wagon, and it least eight would be required, or better, some large armored fantasy beast since this is clearly more of a fantasy wagon -- perhaps a flightless Tatzelwurm to fit in with South German folklore of the era. I hope we see more Imperial wagons, including a smaller, more historically accurate "war wagon" and a common freight wagon like the Elastolin one. I have two in my Imperial Army and can provide photos if interested in making a similar one. Considering there is a Bier Barrel Tier, there should also be a Landsknecht Bier Wagon!
How does the wagon steer the horses?
The same way as the original GW model. Mind control
Wow this is amazeballs!!! Great sculpt. One thing.... Who's driving the wagon???🤔
Thank you Benjamin! We'll probably add a new miniature the next week to control the wagon from inside :)
This is really nice! Just needs some engineers with experimental firearms! Can we hope for some sort of land-based ship on wheels in the future as well? 😉
We can't ensure or deny that we will see a ship with optional wheels in the near future.. :P
Hi, your designs are great! love it! one comment, with horse pulling a war machine (fully protecting the armed men inside), the horse should be a bit protected as well, isn't it? with few armor pieces.... the men are heavily protected and the horses are naked..... and easy to shot at... :-)
Thank you Alexis! About the horses, we have to make more horses in the future for other imperial wagons, so we'll end with a bunch of different horses, from less to more armored :)
*far to shrill sounding excited shriek for a guy* I'm very fond of War Wagons and yours looks great. I like the bolted armor plates and the extra shields for added protection. And the stoic commander.
Thank you very much! We're glad you like it :D
Sorry, I can't find where I can download it
Hi! The Wagon isn't available yet. It has to be pre-supported first :)
This looks mint,
Really nice ! Could one of the horses have a slightly different pose ? It looks like it's just a mirror of the other one as it is on the pictures
Thank you Mika! Actually it is. We want to make more chariots for the Sunland faction in the future, so you'll end with a bunch of interchangeable different horses to pull the chariots :)
Amazing - looks like a ton of fun.
Well now I have to paint this army!!!! Truly epic! Thanks
