Summer Roadmap in Highlands Miniatures
In today’s short Roadmap we will look at what’s coming next to Highlands Miniatures for the upcoming June 2026 and July 2026 set of miniatures.
Also, in June 2026 we will vote the next fantasy races to be sculpted in Highlands Miniatures. In the meanwhile, we continue with the development of new concept miniatures for these new fantasy races.
As always, we want to thank you all for your support along this fantasy development journey.
What will come next?
June
In June 2026 we will finish the Feral Elves with new hero miniatures and animals. We will also bring some additional content to the Sons of Marduk.
July
In July 2026 we will bring new updates for our Sunland range of miniatures and complementary miniatures.

Really hope to see a Marienburg Landship proxy in the future
Maybe some Chaos? 😁
Some Warriors who like the colour Jade and fly around in balloons could be neat...
I wouldn't mind seeing some Beastmen as well, many have tried, few have done them justice - and an Uruk-style Orc interpretation would be cool. I love the orcs you already, have, but have always enjoyed the half-orc aesthetic of Isengard more.
BTW...love the coloured models in the title pic for this post!
Hi is there a plans for the troops from volknia soon
I would love to see armies for Estalia and Araby
Few more thing for orcs and goblins would be good. Just to round it out like some kind of hag and some gaint bouncing things tied together in some way 🤣
I look forward to more Sunland. I wanted to get the Priest of Ulric aka Mergenheim Druid on a horse, which sadly doesn't exist, and I didn't want to kitbash the mini that didn't seem like it would fit on a horse without heavy modification. A captain on a regular griffon, as well as witch hunter on a horse would also be great. More imperial mercs would also be good, like imperial ogres with other weapons, and giving more weapon options for dwarf mercenaries, or even create a look-alike for Prince Ulther's Dragon Company, which is an ancient set of minis that are almost impossible to get unless somebody has the metallic molds. But maybe those last two fit more in the Sons of Yimir section, so that doesn't count...
These all sound amazing and I look forward to what you have for us as always. Just wanted to say that I hope you don't forget about the Fantasy Fillers and markers, I was really looking forward to those big time! Thanks for all the great miniatures!
il ne devait pas y avoir un autre Fillers and Heroes ce mois ci ?
Hi Gregory! No, it was a new Frontier for baggage trains and objective markers. Unfortunately we do not have the time to continue sculpting it, so we have had to delay it for the foreseeable future. :(
Ice bears please!
Thank you for the suggestion! Keep an eye open for the upcoming miniature reveals and poll this next June!
What about that human faction that has an ice queen?
Thank you for the suggestion! Keep an eye open for the upcoming miniature reveals and poll this next June!
Looking forward to sunland! Updated archers/scouts would be great
Thank you for the support Oliver, good suggestion!
More Sunland Ogres with different weapons maybe??
With big, big swords!
I would sacrifice People to the dark gods for some updated demigryph knights
👀👀👀👀
Beastmen please. Not that many good options from other sellers. And female models for beastmen would also be a really unique addition which now one else offers. Please? Pretty please? With cherry on top?
Unfortunately that's one of the fantasy races that we won't include yet in the fantasy polls as it is quite a complicated one in terms of design -and to be legally distinct from other manufacturers- and development!
We need more Volhinya units :D !!!
👀👀👀👀
I would be very happy if you add the expansion of your Volhynia and Varyag ranges to the up coming polls. I get asked for bad warriors all the time, and getting the Volhynia expanded now helps avoid arguments of copyright infringement later on. Just a thought.
Hi Kevin! We don't want to spoil anything yet but we will basically have one and a half of your comment in the poll! 👀
Skaw the falconer - make it happen 😁
haha that's definitely a fancy miniature!
I'm sure you have tons of plans and schemes and I know there's a lot of units floating around out there that will still be done for Sunland But if I could make a suggestion I've been hunting for more heavily armored halberd miniatures for forever and would love to see that
That's a great suggestion Logan! One of the options for the new fantasy races will include Halberds with more armour than your average Sunland troops!
Trying to think whats left. You guys must have done half the factions at this point. Dark Elves would look sick from you guys no doubt. Same with Lizardmen (salivating at lizardmen getting their day), Ogre roster needs rounding out. After that its all chaos factions unless you guys do Border Princes/Dogs of War, which would be awesome. Going to be fun for years to come :)
Yeah, we are starting to run out of fantasy armies to sculpt! But you are on point with many of those suggestions. We hope to unveil the concept miniatures soon!
Hello what about dark elves ? There is no very good models on the market actually :)
Hi there! We may have something something in our bag that we expect to showcase soon!
Yay for the Sunland, but what about kinki elves? :3
We can't confirm nor deny that elves with bad reputation will be part of the upcoming fantasy poll 👀
