August 2024 Preview: the Eternal Pharaohs

The final additional to the Eternal Dynasties is coming next month to Highlands Miniatures!

For this coming August 2024 set of miniatures we continue the developmet of this fantasy race with new incredible monsters, creatures, hero miniatures and much more!

We cannot yet provide a full list of miniatures for the following month as we do not know how many days it will take us to create the full list of horrific creatures we have in mind: Sand Vultures, the mighty Scorpion King... and much more!

But for today, we would like to show you the first set of miniatures coming for this August 2024:

• 3x Mounted Ancient Guard on Great Snakes

• 3x Mounted Ancient Guard Command Group on Great Snakes

• 3x Great Snakes

• 3x Wadjets

We will update the list the following days as we sculpt and showcase more miniatures!

As for the design of these first miniatures -and in general for the design of all creatures- we want to follow the same style and aesthetics as the rest of our common Eternal Dynasties miniatures, so they can blend together in a much bigger army.

The Wadjets are insipired by the egyptian goddess that goes by the same name . Wadjet was said to be the matron and protector of Lower Egypt in her cobra form. The creature with the same name from the Age of Mythology have served us as inspiration as well.

From these creatures also come the Great Snakes for the Mounted Ancient Guard, more similar to a cobra in aspect and overall design.

These miniatures are designed over a 50x100mm square base. These miniatures are not modular. The riders come separated from their mounts, but they are not interchangeable.
