June 2024 Preview: Sunland Reinforces!

Good evening guys,

In today's publication we take a final look at the miniatures coming next month with a quick preview showcasing the new Sunland Artillery Battery.

For this new Sunland Artillery set we have followed a more 'static' approach for the Sunland Mortar and the Sunland Rocket Launcher, removing the wheels from the design. The Rocket Launcher is inspired by the 1940s British Z Battery.

The Sunland Volley Gun has been a bit more complicated to sculpt, as we were following a design based on the 16th century Ottoman Volley Gun but the design was quite similar to an average cannon, so we ended up following an early repetition gun from the 16th and 17th century firearms section located at the Palazzo Ducale in Venezia, and later reinterpreted by a German re-enactment group.

To summarize, this new set will be a perfect combination with the Sunland Cannon we sculpted back in July 2023.
