April 2024 Preview: Steppe Goblins!
The Goblins are back with a new aesthetic this April after the Swamp Goblins we sculpted back in 2023. This time they are based on the incredible cool looking and tough Steppe warriors of the 5th century, the Huns.
The Steppe Goblin Chariot comes split in several pieces for an easy printing and painting. It is designed over a 100x50mm square base.
The Big Crossbow is designed over a 50x50mm square base.
Enjoy a new mischievous release with this massive set of Steppe Goblins miniatures that will include:
1x Steppe Goblin Hero
1x Steppe Goblin Shaman
5x Mounted Steppe Goblins with modular weapon
3x Mounted Steppe Goblins Command Group
4x Steppe Wolfs
10x Steppe Goblins with modular weapon and shield
5x Steppe Goblins with bows (monopose)
3x Steppe Goblins Command Group
1x Steppe Goblin Chariot
3x Steppe Goblin Chariot Crew
1x Steppe Goblins Big Crossbow

Now... let's dive into it!

Hi just a little question, would you be willing to start adding an option of the mount without a saddle? I really liked it when you did it with the demigryphs way back.
When is the release in April?
Hiya Christopher! The releases are normally available to download around the 10th-15th day of each month. This is basically because we print the entire release to check there aren't any printing issues. The April Release will be available soon! :D
Dear Highland as 3 months patreon may I have the Green knight please and Thank you kindly.
Perfect for Warhammer and D&D
These look phenomenal! I'm gonna run them as gnoblars for my Ogres.
Love these! Are spears the only weapon option for the line troops? Would love some dagger options for sneaking about.
Glad you like them Thomas! There will be a few more weapons available for the Steppe Goblins, like a dagger, a club and someting in that line.
What are you doing steppe goblin?
AAAAGGGGHHHH!!! Goblins multiply so freakin fast!!! And I thought I was caught up with all the random gobbos. I dont even know where they come from. They appear in my pile of shame like magic, with lots of friends.
Massive fan of your work and the Goblins look awesome as always! However I can't help notice - the faces of the Wolves aren't right ... not 100% sure why, but I think it's because the eyes and ears are too far back and pointing to the side (i.e. prey animal sited) rather than forwards facing (i.e. predator). There's a great picture that demonstrates it on the first page of this pdf: "https://www.nhstateparks.org/getmedia/e9e30fbf-fa20-4666-bd8b-83b7537641b9/Reading_a_skull_worksheet" Don't know if that helps? Love your work and keep up the great job!
Glad you like them David! That's a very interesting note David. In fact, the wolf head is sculpted 'on top' of a 3D scan of a wolf skull -model FW2415- from the Oregon State University, available for free in Sketchfab. As an example: https://ibb.co/wCNWrfF The ears may be a bit further back than it should be, for sure! Thank you for the feedback!
Will we see the heroes on mounted wolfs?
Maybe in the future!
oh please do some swamp goblin crew for the ballista! Everything looks great!
LOVE IT
oh excellent stuff!
WAAAAAAAAAGGGGGGHHHHHH!
Love them, with the champion does the severed head touch the foot?
Glad you like them Paul! No, the Gallia head doesn't touch the body, in case someone want to remove it from the miniature.
LA POLLA!!!!
