HOW TO MAKE FRIENDS AS AN ND ADULT!!!!

Hello, Brains!

I HAVE SOMETHING EXCITING TO SHARE!!!! My good friend Caroline (y’know friendship and adhd expert Caroline) has written a book on how to make friends as a neurodivergent ADULT!!!!

It’s called Friendship Skills for Neurodivergent Adults: A Guide for the Anxious, Uniquely Wired, and Easily Distracted. It comes out April 14 but it’s on presale now!!!

If you’re interested you can check it out here: https://www.hachettebookgroup.com/titles/caroline-maguire/friendship-skills-for-neurodivergent-adults/9781538773086/

She’s been working so hard on this and I can’t wait to read it. This topic is so hard for so many of us myself included.

Oh I'm very interested in this! I'm pretty effective at making friends, but the way I go about it can definitely be kind of a lot. It'll be nice to get some strategies that might help me skip the phase where the person I'm trying to befriend worries what they're getting themselves into 😅 On my way to preorder this!

She is one of those very rare creators I enjoy listening to even when the subject is less interesting to me and will definitely check it out because although I am good at making friends, I can let friendships slide when I am overwhelmed or feel like I am drowning with the "responsible stuff" that I have forgotten until the last minute (or late- oops), screwed up, or is taking too long.
