Write Books for Toddlers
SIMSMAS MODVENT CALENDAR DAY 10
Since the time I played with a writer in my game, it bothered me that you can't write books for toddlers, even though toddlers books exist, so I decided to add this feature.
Interaction can be found on the computer under Writing category, as writing other books.
You can choose the cover design, add your own title and description. You can publish it and earn royalties. You can read it to your toodlers. Toddlers can check the book as well. I think I checked all aspects for a crafted book and all should work for toddler books now :)
It's Base game compatible.
This mod requires XML Injector!
Conflicts or Compatibility:
This mod overrides 2 files so will conflict with any mod that is also overriding the same files:
name_Book
rename_Book
As a result of this override, I think that all books now (not only these for toddlers) will get longer titles and descriptions.

The descriptions you have premade for the books are too long. It won't let me write the books until I delete most of the description, or I have to force close the game.
The descriptions are default one, for these books created by EA. The same for lenght for book title and description. And you actually should create your own title and description, that match the designed lenght, then there would be no issue with saving. However, I understand the need to make longer descriptions, so I tried to do something about it. After some long research and attempts, it turned out the only way to make it work is to override the EA files to extend the lenght for titles and description. I wanted to avoid overriding, but then my entire mod was not working at all. I will upload the new version soon, I have still few mods to update and then I will make a post about 3rd drop of updates.

I will be discussing it on LuniverSims.fr. You are welcome to include it; it is a service for our subscribers, and I do not profit from it. Thank you for sharing such wonderful mods, and have a lovely day.🤗
Thank you! I added the link to the article so everyone can download :)
This is cool! I could have a children's book writer sim with a broader range! Thanks so much.
I also missed it a lot in my game, it was on my to do list for such a long time!
УРА! Огромное спасибо! Мне этого очень не хватало, когда дети моей симки были тоддлерами, а она писала книги...

It's about time! Thank you!
Haha, yes ^^ I was actually surprised no one created mod like this so far. At least from what I found.
Hi! Quick question for you: do you know if this will play friendly with midnitetech's Write Books Overhaul?
Hi, it should, because my mod doesn't override anything. So whatever this mod is changing, it for sure doesn't impact my mod :)
This is amazing. It's so cute that our Sim can write a book and then read it to a Toddler. : )
Thank you! <3 🥰
thank you so much
Thank you! <3 🥰

Thank you! <3 🥰 It's very kind of you!
Ah! Fantastic! I have just the character for this. Thank you!
Lovely! Yeah, I missed that, I wish I created it earlier so that my legacy founder would write toddlers book as well.
That's a very nice idea, thank you for the opportunity. :-)
Thank you! I just give the justice to writers 😅
