Monday Portion of News
Dear all, I have good news. I finished all the features I planned as mandatory for Career Day Overhaul, including Career Aptitude Test. Today and tomorrow I still want to work on 2 things that I wanted to add (but were not in my mandatory plan), but I had issues before. I give it a second chance, and if I fail again during these 2 days, I'll just stay with what I have already and I'll start a test phase (about 1 week). If I succeed, the plan stays the same for testing :D So it means, the mod will be ready for release next week :)
PATCH COMING
We know that this week The Sims team is going to release a patch, which might contain a lot of stuff and fixes (just guesses based on what they announced so far). This can mean a lot of broken mods. Please wait for my update, before using my mods after the patch. I hope checking won't take long... If updating my mods after the patch takes long, this might delay the Career Day Overhaul release :(
YOUR MESSAGES AND COMMENTS
I've seen a lot of messages and comments from you during the last week. I am sorry, I didn't read them yet because I caught such an amazing flow in the modding that I didn't want to break it with thoughts of some bug reports or great mods ideas, I hope you understand! I promise, that I'll read all still before the patch.
MY BLENDER EXPERIENCE SO FAR
As I announced some time ago, I came back to blender, with the ultimate goal to create animations. And I would like to share with you my journey here :)
I did try animations 3 years ago, but then it was such a tedious work for me, I abandoned it. This time I followed amazing tutorial from SurelySims, and it had so many useful tips that creating a pose is now much easier for me. For now I started with standalone poses, to learn how to operate and how to reflect the human body. Movement is more advanced, so first the basics.
I can show you my first pose created from the scratch on my own, from the photo reference, which I named "Maja is worried Jace will never propose" - this is a direct reference to my own legacy gameplay :D I think, creating poses which I'll use in my own game, gives me a huge boost to motivation ;) So here's the photo of Maja in that pose. I know I need to still work on some things, like better posture, making sure a Sim looks good from each angle, but as this is my first pose made with a clear awareness of all these things, I think it's fine :D
Also, if you want, I attach a package with this pose, although it's not perfect and it's just 1 :) I hope in the future I'll make much better poses and animations :)
Thank you for reading and stay tuned for next updates this week after the patch! :)
