The comic has two realities. The pay walled one, and the free one. 😅 Canon-wise, this is the truth. Clothes don't mean much to most dragons, beyond fashion, and politeness. Dragons will wear clothes to avoid drama and fit in to places, like the Tanglewood.

Failure of imagination on both their parts. What happens when Flare gets called out for being "just friends" with Elias? This time there's women that could challenge her / temp Elias. Not that our man would seriously consider those offers. However, we've got "Gasoline, meet Fire" kind of anti-meet-cute.
Thinking about it if your born with and surrounded by warm colors like red and a orange yellow it makes sense for the reds to have a like or preference for colder or darker colors in what they wear or accent themselves with

Sorry to say, but I consider women like about my height or a bit shorter to be very attracted active.
I'm so glad everyone has different tastes. I'm 6'2" and I go weak in the knees for women that are +6'4". Tallest woman I ever asked out was 6'9" and she was a BEAUTY!

Past all of that, Elias is an artisan himself (rune-smithing is considered artisinal right), so it's probably the part of the Fangs where he'll fit in best.

I love how all Flare is thinking with glowing eyes is how fashionable these dragons and their incredibly skimpy outfits are since this is normal for her while all Elias is thinking is how much sleep will he be able to get being surrounded by even more dragons who just let their "fun parts" out in the open whenever they want.
