*Resizing Tip: When you duplicate plug-in, it will remember current state of GUI size. But if you load new instance, it will be opened at default size. To get rid of this issue, simply follow these steps;
1. Open plug-in for the first time
2. Resize GUI according to your screen resolution or you liking before setting any knobs
3. Save this state as default preset with your DAW
Now, you will be able to load new instances with same size.
(If you want to go default size, simply double click to resize handle.)

Version 2.1 is ready to download! - Fixed high CPU usage and playback cut issue
Love it, simple, effective, nice GUI!
Revised review. I initially complained about the astronomical CPU consumption of the plugin. But hats off to the developer, who fixed this and provided a new release within a day. The CPU usage is now within reasonable limits - well done! One still needs to be rather careful with the parameters and use the plugin sparingly to avoid introducing harshness, but when applied in homoeopathic doses, it really sounds very nice and can e.g. add an expensive sounding shine to female vocals. So I now added it to my ever growing arsenal of high end enhancers (which previously consisted of Slate Digital Fresh Air, Lkjb Luftikus, SPL Vitalizer, Ripples Music Luster and Noisebud Talc) and now have a perfectly fitting tool for every occasion and use case. Many thanks for making this available for free, much appreciated!
2.0 sounds fantastic—really interesting! Now, even small adjustments to the controls yield noticeable results, like there’s vastly more horsepower under the hood. The only catch is that those horses need feeding, apparently; it’s become incredibly thirsty.
Can anyone help me understand what this does? "High Frequency Processor" isn't very specific! :) I take it there's some addition of energy in the treble/high mids. Is this an EQ or an exciter or something else? If it's an EQ, why would I want this instead of the basic EQ in my DAW? If it's an exciter, why no oversampling? I can imagine answers to these questions, e.g. it's an eq with a custom/curated curve that you'd want a skeuomorphic interface with fewer moving parts, or it's a nonlinearity with clever anti-aliasing. However, without a better sense of what I'm looking at I can't tell whether the niche this fills is already occupied in my setup, how to test it, or what to test it against.
Thank you
Thank you it sounds very good and smooth, it was amazingly nice if there was an option to raise the lows too, like a tilt filter.
Cool thing on masterbus. But, the GUI is not showing in the right way, so as some other PlugIns from AO. Windows 10. Studio One Professionel.
Just tried it out on some female vocals. Very nice and smooth. Blend at 50% for just a subtle change. How is this different than an eq shelf or bell? Just curious. Thanks!
Waveform has VST3 GUI issues. Most Analog Obsession plugs. Have reported to devs... no resolve. AU has no issue. Doesn't size right.
I understand that's annoying if you use that DAW. But I think it's fair to say that it's a pretty small user base for thwt DAW. So to support that or any other minor DAW would probably be quite a task. I feel your pain. But I feel the love from AO more who gives away some of the best plugins out there.. For free. So I hope you can forgive him for not fully supporting. Every DAW out there, and to focus on the more frequently used DAWs. Peace.
I like it! It could be an alternative to the RARE for high end. Nice and simple, no bells and whistles. However, resizing does not seem to work under Windows in Studio One 6.6. Correction, it does work. What I saw is a Studio One plugin window issue I need to report.
Hi! Sorry for 'only mono' issue. Just fixed. Please, download again. Thanks
is it Mono?
Turns source into mono... :| Is this normal? Using AU in Tracktion Waveform 13. Also crashes a lot when making adjustments (not sure which ones are problematic).
