ATONE
A Channel Strip with A-Type EQ, Filters and 436 style Compressor
It has lots of capabilities for tone shaping with its own custom design and internal routing.
There is no line or mic preamp as an input module but INPUT knob will drive EQ circuit's Gain Trim to get nasty op-amp saturation.
Compressor section based on 436c with extra modifications. Compressor has AMOUNT knob to compression and make-up gain. So, it will be gain compensated.
FEATURES
- INPUT: It will control EQ circuit's Gain Trim to overload op-amp and get saturation
- HPF & LPF: A-Type filters. HPF 20Hz to 600Hz. LPF 20kHz to 500Hz
- EQUALIZER: A-Type 3 band inductor based eq
- COMPRESSOR: 436c style compressor with modified attack and release times. Also, AMOUNT knob will adjust compression amount and make-up gain at the same time.
- OUTPUT: Clean master volume control
- SYSTEM: This will bypass whole plug-in. Also, each modules have their own bypass buttons. EQ section's bypass won't bypass INPUT knob. Only bands will be bypassed independently. So, you can still use saturation.
Resizable interface. Simple "Bottom Right Corner Handle" to resize. 50% to 200%.
*Resizing Tip: When you duplicate plug-in, it will remember current state of GUI size. But if you load new instance, it will be opened at default size. To get rid of this issue, simply follow these steps;
1. Open plug-in for the first time
2. Resize GUI according to your screen resolution or you liking before setting any knobs
3. Save this state as default preset with your DAW
Now, you will be able to load new instances with same size.
(If you want to go default size, simply double click to resize handle.)

Looks great but Input and Output meters please!!! I would use your plugins significantly more if I could use some kind of I/O metering. I work in live settings and often need a plugin to do something without being able to listen for nuance, I know where I want something to hit but without meters I simply cannot use most of the catalog. Additionally, If I need a clipper to take the edge off I need to dial that in inside a context where I can't necessarily hear it on the fly - hard to do with no metering also. Could you do basic meters on the sides that can be hidden/exposed globally? The way TBT does it is perfect for live. Actually, Input and Output right next to each other on the side of the plugin window would be ideal - no need for large VU graphics. Just a segmented LED type bar or straight digital level with a few options would be perfect! If its hidden by default and can be enabled on plugins, I think it would go over well. Please understand, due to the way we (and many others) use Reaper in a live situation, plugin metering is essential as Reaper metering cannot give us what we need during performances (it is set up for record level, not channel output level). Thanks for considering!
WELL I JUST CAME ACROSS THIS COMPRESSORS AND INDEED IS AMAZING.. HARDWARE CHARACTER... THE ONLY ISSUE HERE IS IT SUCKS CPU MUCH....AM USING CUBASE 12PRO 64BIT...WELL CONGRATS FOR YOUR GREAT WORK
This plugin sounds so Great! Really impressed! Thank You
Tried it briefly but the gui is blacked out. My graphics card is up to date and compatible
Having a problem with your plugins. I am unable to resize any of your plugs in Logic. I am able to resize all of them in PluginDoctor. ?????
I noticed something strange, when the input signal is low there is more distortion than with the higher input signals, clearly visible on the graph. Also with the input knob is at zero there is more harmonic distortion than when the input goes up to around 3 o clock, then it gets more distorted. Is this a bug or a feature?
no oversampling on this one?.. it also crashes when using the resizing feature (Reaper on Win11).. love the sound though. When it works :-) Load time is also 3-4 times what your plugins usually are.
This works nicely and the user interface is great. I noticed that unlike most AO plugins, when I have two instances of the plugin open with their user interfaces displayed, I cannot interact with either of them, the audio continues to be processed, but the meters and knobs are frozen. With just one UI on the screen all works perfectly.
Not seeing that here on Windows 11 and Studio One 6.6. What DAW & OS?
Chiming in again. This is really a GREAT plugin! Been using it on all sorts of projects. Just food for thought... I would love to see a Focusrite emulation. The only one out there that I'm aware of is Brainworx and its great, but I think you could top it. The other thing I would love to see you tackle is an emulation of the tube STA compressor. Arturia has one and its fantastic, but again, I think you can top it. Thanks again for all you do. You are a treasure to the music making community.
Man... I think you're just getting better and better! This sounds incredible. I was wondering--would you mind keeping the oversampling optional? It takes up 14% CPU currently, and I noticed on ATONE as well as MoMa that you can no longer disable the oversampling.
This is fantastic! Beautiful design as always, but most importantly, sounds great.... as always. I love these type of strips. Super simple, great to throw on if you need something fast. Does seem to add something colorful in the mid range. Not quite sure what but seems to have a little magic. The feel of the compression reminds me a bit of the famed MOLOT comp. Thanks so much for your gifts to musicians!
Haha 😂 molot true with Russian language display real old vst
Adds some really interesting color, both in Saturation, EQ and Compressor. Will need to try it on more material and figure out specific use cases. Nice work so far!
Had to try it on drums obviously and it sounds really nice! The mid band is a bit high to my taste but I reckon that it is what the hardware does. Worth it for the compressor alone though! Not seeing the issue Elad Hz is mentioning here in Studio One, so far no issues whatsoever
Thanks for sharing. It sounds beautiful, but there is some bad white noise when the input is at zero, and it slowly fades away from the second and third line, Cubase 11, Mac
