Boat Jumping
I am currently working on boat jumping as it is a highly requested feature (boats will no longer stick to the surface and jump over waves). Release of it will probably be tomorrow. Gonna take a break for the rest of this sunday!

i cant find any shaders that have the splash effect i hear it but no visual effect. any recommendations?

It would be awesome if the boat fell down with big waves because of the rain.

Looking at this I find it hard to imagine what you CANNOT do.
literally can't wait. I just discovered this works with the Small Ships mod but the one problem was that it looks a little goofy when the ships are going fast and just sticking to the surface of the water the whole time. won't be the case tomorrow ;)
Dear lord I just recently subscribed to your patreon so I could get access to stuff like the waves and the vines moving, and the amount of progress you make in such a short time is crazy! You deserve a break!

and you rly need to make it to work with optifine
You gotta blame the optifine guy for that. He's the one that makes it really hard to work with.
